I originally ordered on Doordash, so can’t rate service. I got a 14″ margherita. It tasted like day-old re-heated pizza. And that’s being generous. Which is ironic, since it was barely even warm when it arrived.
The taste and flavor were way off. It was weirdly sweet, and just odd. Not fresh at all. Nothing about this pizza was done right, from the sauce, to the bread, to the toppings.
And the $5 they charged for extra basil somehow was not fresh either. It was like they used already expired basil. The amount of basil that was on it should be the standard amount. Not the amount that you pay an extra $5 for. Probably the worst pizza I’ve ever had in my life thus far.
Literally any other pizza place would probably be better. Any place you could think of off the top of your head.

Had a great experience at Sahara Pizza in Mercer Island. The guy at the register was super welcoming and made the whole visit feel comfortable right from the start. I ordered the 4-cheese pizza and it did not disappoint, really good flavor and I ended up eating the whole thing. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area

We were starving and stumbled into Sahara Pizza on Mercer Island. The pizza was perfect, piping hot with plenty of toppings & great sauce. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful. Suggesting options and telling us what was good – and it all was!! Restaurant is spotless and I love that they support a lot of local kids sports!

First off I didn’t realize this was a take out only place. I almost left but glad I decided get a pizza to go instead. There’s tables outside in the strip mall so it was fine. We ordered the Lion’s Feast and it was fantastic! Some of the tastiest pizza sauce I’ve had! It was piping hot and full of ingredients too! I’m glad I ordered the large so I could enjoy the leftovers too. I’ll be back here again!

My first time with this pizza place. I called a day ahead and ordered two pizzas. I was able to understand the order taker very well. Monty S. was patient, polite, and spoke clearly. I have hearing loss, so that is important.

Sahara Pizza on Mercer Island really came through for me. Mickey was the one who helped me out and his customer service was top tier. He took the time to recommend a couple of pizzas, and he wasn’t wrong—both were fire. The food was delicious, fresh, and honestly hit the spot. You don’t always get that kind of treatment at places nowadays, but Mickey made sure everything was on point. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to.
