I placed a large 60-piece catering order with the Downtown Jimmy John’s for a 5:15 p.m. delivery. When the order hadn’t arrived by 6:00 p.m., I contacted the store and spoke with the manager, Charlotte. She immediately took ownership of the situation and explained that after 4:00 p.m., deliveries are fulfilled through DoorDash or UberEats. Although the system showed the order as delivered to the correct address, the food could not be located.
What truly stood out was Charlotte’s exceptional customer service. She promptly voided the order, offered a credit, and went above and beyond by providing 24 complimentary sandwiches with chips and drinks to ensure our event was taken care of.
Thank you to Charlotte and the entire Downtown Jimmy John’s team for your professionalism, responsiveness, and willingness to accommodate under pressure. Your effort made a stressful situation seamless, and we truly appreciate you helping make our event a success. Highly recommend!

This is my second bad experience with this Jimmy John location in downtown Greensboro. The preparation of the item is lack lust. They don’t give you enough of the ingredients, considering how much you’re paying for the sandwich or wrap! Customers beware don’t waste your money on this location.

I walked in, asked for 6” sub with lettuce, turkey, and cheese. When I opened the sandwich I realized that’s not what was given to me. The bread/toppings were far less than I ordered, and the size of the sandwich would have barely fed a little kid. When I came back in to ask for it to be remade, I was met with hostility and attitude. I have no problem with a mistake being made with the sandwich, but I’m more upset about the attitude I received when asking for it to be fixed. I will no longer be recommending this location to anyone.

I came into restaurant with my child during Fun 4th around 4:45-5pm… I read sign coming in that restroom is only for paying customers( something like that) I proceeded to stand in line to make a purchase while my child headed to restroom. The guy at register stopped her and said something like she could not use restroom and had to make a purchase. I said I am making the purchase she is using restroom. I am the adult with the wallet! And held it ip for him to see. He again said she could not use it until after purchase was made ( Not exact words). Not to make a scene, I continued to stand in line, while my child waited with me. After I made the purchase, she went to the restroom. The problem I have is that I was a paying customer, obviously if I was line to order. I don’t see why my child could not use restroom when she was not the one paying for purchase. Luckily she is pre-teen age and could wait! I would have hated for it to have been an emergency or a younger child. But in any case it really should not matter! The sign on door should have read “ All parties are to remain in line until after transaction in order to use the restroom!!!! I was taken back by your employees tone as well as the way this was handled! I hope not all customers were treated in this manner! I know you all have a certain level of expectation as it pertains to customer service! I understand the need to enforce your restroom policy especially on a day like Fun 4th, but to treat a paying customer with a child this way is unacceptable in my opinion!!! I will most likely avoid this location moving forward.

We’ve had a couple bad experiences with this location, but this was the one that broke the camels back! We ordered ahead through GrubHub like 30 minutes in advance for a pick up time. We arrived and our food wasn’t ready for pick up, and NO ONE was there. I yelled “hello!” A couple times, even checked the bathroom doors to make sure no one was hurt. After not seeing anyone, I called to see if someone took the phone with them. No answer, and the phone was ringing. After 10 minutes of waiting, someone came from the back and said they could make our order but by that time, it was too late and we had to go. Thankfully, GrubHub cancelled our order. They also tried to call them to confirm what happened, but to no surprise, they still didn’t pick up. This location needs new managing, desperately.

If you sit at the booths one of the employees will stand over you and say you’re not allowed to sit there until you move. But the booths arent closed off which is confusing. One of the employees kept approaching people coming in saying she preferred they not there including us. We just simply left because the atmosphere was extremely uncomfortable.

Ordered Lunch at my office at 1:23p. At 2:16p my order had not arrived I called the store and a young lady answered the phone. She told me she couldn’t see my order in the system. The manager got on the phone and was very rude after admitting that he had made the mistake after taking my order initially. At this point we are an hour in and he offered me 10 percent off! Unacceptable!

I very rarely complain online because it’s not worth my time but in this economy, companies need to start being accountable. It took me 3 years and a gallon of gas just to find parking after the lunch rush at this location. Order was made before I even paid for it. That’s great except sometimes when you try to be fast, you make mistakes. Order was wrong. Didn’t know until I left my parking spot. Decided to call in. Manager offered to make my sandwich himself “next time” except that did nothing for me at the moment. No offer to see if I was close to deliver me a new sandwich or offer me a free one on my next visit or anything. Paid $13 for a $5 ingredient sandwich which was made wrong followed by horrible CS. I won’t be back.

Not wanting to put a bad review, I absolutely love Jimmy Johns but I went and got a cup of water tonight and it tastes like it has chemicals in it I’m 21 weeks pregnant, my baby is kicking like crazy right now, hopefully not from me taking a big gulp of that water. I did call the store to let them know that they need to check it thank goodness I did.
