Ordered some food online for takeout. 2 ladies were cooking in the kitchen making everything fresh from what I can tell when I entered the restaurant. The food wasn’t the overly sweet American Thai food. There was enough heat to be enjoyable but not overwhelming spicy.

It’s like what you often hear about mom and pop type restaurants, a hole in the wall that from the outside doesn’t look like much. But it’s what’s inside that changes everything. The older asian lady who took order was a sweetheart.
The food is made fresh and because of that it does take time…but it’s worth every minute. It’s asian cuisine done right. My beef massaman curry was amazing and my wife and daughter’s food was just as fantastic.
You wouldn’t expect this kind of Thai food here in the middle of nowhere Dahlgren, but it’s worth the drive. I will be going back, probably several times. ❤️

Absolutely love this place. It can be a bit of wait for the food, but thats because it’s popular and the food is SO GOOD. It’s worth waiting for, just plan for that. I’ve tried Pad Thai from a few different places, and Dahlgren Thai is the best! They’re Thai tea is also amazing.

Wonderful owner and food quality is great. Always cooked fresh to order. Prices have gone up over the years like most places but the quality is worth it. Only open Mon-Fri and super busy during lunch due to the local naval base.

This place is amazing! I love the little authentic hole in the wall experience. I ordered a very large order for a work lunch and they were able to pull it off during a lunch rush (I did call and order the day before, but they were completely accommodating). And, with an order that large, you except a couple things “not right” but all items were correct and delicious. I crave their food now and went back not even a week later. I’ve never been a fan of Thai food but this place changed my mind! All of the orders were take-out and I think thats probably more of their specialty and that works for me! Don’t sleep on this place!!!

Blown away by the freshness and quality, especially for the very affordable price. The spring rolls should be confiscated by the DEA, they’re so addictive. Best lunch spot in the sorely lacking Dahlgren; if you work on base, you have no excuse not to go!
