Overall a great experience. The fried pickles were very tasty. The cheeseburgers and fries were excellent. We ordered 10 wings, 5 buffalo medium and 5 garlic teriyaki. The garlic teriyaki sauce was excellent. The wings themselves and the buffalo sauce were ok. Our wings were a bit cold and the skin on the wings a bit too chewy for my liking. The jerk chicken tacos were yummy and a big portion. Love all the TVs showing a multitude of sporting events. Will definitely go back. I also really like the Magnolia Road location because it gets you away from the crowds at the restaurants near FSU campus.

I first went to Island Wing Company this past Friday. I ordered Parmesan wings coconut shrimp and a side salad. Everything was above and beyond delicious. Wings as crispy and flavorful as possible and the shrimp The side salad was fresh mixed greens with grape tomatoes and cucumbers. So fresh I imagine they just picked the greens. My next visit a few days later I got the blackened Mahi Reuben sandwich!!! It was so good and huge!! My husband and I split it and we both were satisfied, full as could be. Go to this lovely place and enjoy.

Excited we now have one on this side of town; not excited about the lukewarm (small) boneless wings after waiting 30 minute. Then had to send wings back because it was the wrong flavor…. Better customer service was expected on such a slow night.

IF YOU’RE BLACK DONT COME HERE. Today is Monday 3/9/26. Time:3:12. If you are black I wouldn’t suggest coming here. We arrived around 3. The bartender was was the only front end employee. He was rude by not acknowledging us when we walked thru the door. His conversation he was having with someone who was leaving, he continued while we stood at the hostess desk. When he finally made his way to us he just walked up and grabbed menus and said to follow him. No greeting, no introduction, nothing. Until I didnt move and looked at him and said “hello, how are you?”.
He dropped us off at the table. Came and took our drink orders and then left again. He didnt ask if were ready to order. He didnt offer suggestions. He didnt mention the daily specials. THERE WAS NO SERVICE. And it wasnt because he was busy because he had time to engage in a ful, friendly convo with that person he was talking to when we talked in. Aside from that person who was leaving, it was only two people at the bar, already had drinks, and the rest of the establishment was empty. We just left, didnt even tough the drinks.
Service was absolute trash. Try the location by Thomasville road, I’ve been multiple times and its a much better experience.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile that instantly made me feel welcome. My waitress, THEE best, came right over to take my drink order. The bartender—though I didn’t catch her name—was so kind she even came to the table to make sure my cocktail was just right. When the food came out, it was hot, fresh, and absolutely amazing!

Did I just go on the worst night ever? Lol Where is this overall high rating coming from?! Place was pretty much dead, and we ordered apps and food. Buffalo Chicken Dip was probably the worst I’ve ever had – it was like canned diced chicken, a big glob of 1 piece of cheese and then a layer of franks red hot….absolutely awful. $15 for two mahi tacos, could I at least get more than two fajita strip size pieces?!?! They were ok, but definitely not good – the rice with it was the best part, which is sad. Shared wings were probably the best thing and that was mixed reviews.. Oh,and when my beer doesn’t taste like it’s supposed to and when you ask me if I want something else, and I decide no, why would you charge me for the beer?! I understand I drank it, but I was thirsty and downed it fast, it was acknowledged but then expressed since I finished it I still owed for a beer that tasted not at all what I ordered – seems like odd customer satisfaction to me. Buddy’s two burger deal was greasy and terrible, fries were barely touched.

Was delightfully surprised in a great way. With only 2 servers on a Monday, the two ladies did very well in serving everyone. The food was great. I had the “Boss Burger” and Loved it. Wife had the Buffalo Chicken Salad and it was Fabulous. Friends had lunch specials of the Chicken Wings and Cheeseburger and they had NO complaints. If we are ever back in the area, this is a sure place to stop. We use to do Chick Fil A but not any longer. This was a great alternative and was not disappointed in any way.

Had an awesome experience at Island Wing Company! The food was fresh, hot, and full of flavor, but what really made the visit stand out was our server, Eli. Eli was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything came out perfect without us ever having to ask. You can tell he genuinely cares about giving great service. Between the great wings, chill atmosphere, and top-tier service from Eli, this spot is definitely one I’ll be coming back to. Highly recommend!
