I consider myself a connoisseur of spicy chicken teriyaki and a side of gyoza. I’m a simple man with simple culinary needs. Himitsu is my go-to now when I grow that particular itch. The spice is just right, the chicken is selected and cooked right, and the rice is never too wet or dry. The portions are just perfect for a growing boy like me. The guy who answers the phone is the guy behind the counter. He’s curt and professional, a touch difficult to get a laugh out of, but I don’t hold that against him. They always get my order right.

I don’t normally leave this bad of a review, but this place deserves it. First, they overcharged me, and I had to repeatedly request three times before he was willing to add up the bill showing I was overcharged by about $15.00. After a 15 minute wait, I got my $10.99 order of Ramen noodle soup which consisted of a $.25 package of Ramen noodles with some broccoli added to it. Unbelievable! Needless to say, I will never, ever come back to this place again. I would advise anyone else to be equally circumspect of this establishment.

Wanted to eat in, they serve everything in to go box’s. Then he got the order wrong and then the food was okay but nothing to be excited about.

Great teriyaki spot right in maple valley but a little unknown since it’s hidden off behind the Bartell and QFC. The employees are friendly, the service is very quick and the food is delicious with large portions.

Had a family dine in. Food had good flavors, enough portion size. The ambience was traditional. Felt little awkward when food was served in take away boxes, but later it became a good strategy to pack left overs. Would definitely visit again.
