Great place to watch a game- the old style cafeteria long tables were pretty cool! The service was friendly, but the food could use some upgrades, especially for the cost.

I really wanted to rate them better, but even though my food was good, the service and cost were big factors in my rating. I found other more affordable places in Alpine. That being said, the Cowboy Quesadilla was yummy!

Great food, service, & personal attention from the Manager! The classic burger on a brioche bun & crispy fries are always a hit, or get on your guest’s good side by sharing an order of their massive nachos. Lunch is always a treat as well as meeting friends for supper while enjoying live music on nights when it’s offered. Do yourself a favor & join their new MVP Club the next time you’re there!

Stopped in for lunch with my uncle and cousin and had a fantastic experience! We had the burger, chicken fried steak and the house salad. All of our foods were great, and I love the bar area! Would definitely come back for good food and to watch a game. And our server, Alex, was friendly and polite with great service. Will definitely make Amigos my go-to spot when passing through Alpine

I’m giving it five stars, not because it’s charming & beautiful, but because it’s a bar & music venue with lots of tables & hang-out areas. The bar-tending is fast and the vibe is laid-back & friendly. It’s convenient, being in the main part of Alpine. It’s an easy walk to anywhere you have to park.

My hubby had a classic burger and it looked delicious ( he said it was). I ordered nachos and added meat to them. Very dissatisfied first off my fault for not asking what type of cheese is used ( it’s the one poured from a can ) beans were whole beans instead of mashed ‍♀️. Lots of chips and not enough of the rest . The picture is what was left I just ate the top part .

Excellent service and great food! Options for kids and the best place to get salad at a sit down restaurant in Alpine. Prickly pear margarita is on par with the old Saddle Club’s! So fresh too.

We had the absolute pleasure of being served by Monica during our visit, and she truly made our dining experience unforgettable. From the moment we sat down, she greeted us with a warm smile and genuine enthusiasm that instantly made us feel welcome. Monica was attentive without being overbearing, incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, and went out of her way to make sure every detail was perfect.

What stood out the most was her kindness and professionalism. She anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, offered great recommendations, and checked on us at just the right times. Even when the restaurant got busy, Monica never missed a beat—always calm, always caring, and always going above and beyond.

Monica is the kind of person who turns a simple meal into a memorable occasion. If you’re lucky enough to have her as your server, you’re in for a great experience. Thank you, Monica, for your outstanding service—we’ll definitely be back!

I don’t often leave reviews, at least bad ones. But, I had to this time.

We went while in town for a couple of days and it was just not good. There were sooo many issues overall. But, the waitress, while not the best, was nice and did seem to try her best.

Our issue was the quality of food and the price. My bf got the fish and chips. It was literally frozen fish like you’d get in the store and eat at home. The fish wasn’t bad, but it was literally frozen fish, and the plate was $20+ all on its own. Not fresh, hand battered fish you’d see at a restaurant.

The salsa, queso, and guacamole, you could get all three for $12, or salsa for $4, queso for $6, and guacamole for $6. They were TINY bowls. Definitely not worth it. Picture attached for reference.

In terms of salsa, just a heads up…. I know this is a personal preference, so I don’t hold it against them, but know that the salsa has cumino or something in it. I, personally, didn’t like it.

My rice was crunchy. Flavor was ok but crunchiness not so much. The beans were the part of my meal. The tacos weren’t terrible but they were not great overall.

Definitely one of the worst meals we’ve had in a long time, unfortunately.
