At Las Chelitas we believe that a meal is about more than just food, it’s about an experience. We endeavor to bring this philosophy to every level of our business, from the atmosphere of our dining room, to our exceptional service, to our beautifully plated and truely delicious dishes. In the vibrant neighborhood of Dyker Heights , we’ve been inspired to aim higher in creating an ambitious menu. By exploring the contrasts and commonalites of MEXICAN & LATIN cuisines, our chef “YOVANY QUISQUINA” has designed dishes that are more than the sum of their parts, more than their ingredients or the various culinary traditions that inspired them.

Solid spot. I ordered chicken and steak burritos for takeout and the flavor was good, they aren’t very generous with the sauce within in though! It was a little dry for a couple bites & the meat was cooked a lil too much to where it was on the dry side too. I’ll def be going back, I’m happy with the price and the service was very nice!

Wow, I’m truly impressed with this place! The food was fantastic, and the atmosphere was very welcoming. The owner’s son, who looks to be around 8–12 years old, was such a hard worker—helping his mom, cleaning, and taking orders. That was honestly the best part; I love seeing kids help their parents. He was super nice, friendly, and polite. The mother was amazing as well and very helpful. The wait time for the food was excellent, and the portions and discounts were incredible. I’m honestly shocked in the best way. I will definitely be coming back—love this place!

THE BEST TACOS IN BROOKLYN!!!! The shrimp tacos are amazing, the burritos are amazing, the loaded nachos are amazing, it’s honestly the best Mexican food I’ve had ever. They are very generous in portion size and the flavors are amazing. You can tell that the food is homemade. Best spot ever for lunch

This little unassuming spot was a 5/5! The atmosphere is lovely (pillows are a nice touch), music was perfect volume, service was friendly and accommodating, and most importantly, the food was a solid 10/10. Presentation was stunning, flavor was rich and you could tell it was fresh. They do automatically add the tip to the bill however, the whole meal was reasonably priced and the tip amount isn’t greedy. I would understand being upset about it if everything wasn’t on point. That being said, I didn’t have that issue because everything was perfect. We’ll definitely be back!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!

Came here around 6pm for dinner. We were the only table. There were several takeouts. The service was a bit slow. We ordered fried calamari, fish rice bowl, and half a chicken. It is the saddest and skinniest calamari I have ever had. I had to confirmed with the server what they were. The calamari was very dry. The fish and chicken was ok but the calamari throw me off so much I wasn’t having any high expectations.

This is a really really good family restaurant. We had the shrimp ceviche, and nachos for appetizers. Both were amazing and filling. For main courses, we had the fish tacos, e chicken enchilada, steak and fish. All very flavorful and good. Don’t forget to get some candy on your way out!

decided to stop by this beautiful family-owned business one day and they were having one of my now favorite specials.. the ribeye steak! it was delicious, and i still think about it not to mention the service; they were very sweet and kind towards me, it felt like eating at my own home. definitely will frequent here more often, thank you guys ☺️

The food was ok, but nowhere near four star quality. Service was closer to three stars at best. The name “Las Chelitas” made me think they served beer and drinks, but there was zero liquor.

The bill was so faded I could barely read it, but I did not feel like arguing. I will not be coming back, but I wanted to share my experience for others.

To the business: please hire a proper waiter. Putting a kid with no social skills in that role killed the vibe and the service went downhill fast. Also, being charged for hot sauce for my tacos is wild.

Hidden Gem in Brooklyn! The food is good and you can taste the effort and time spent to make quality food. I would recommend to get some appetizers such as the Nacho supreme and the calamari before getting to the tacos and burritos.

Cute little neighborhood mexican mom and pop. The food is good, price is ok (they have lunch specials pricing too), food presentation exceeded expectations and the portion size is good, not too much or too little. Our waitress/host was super nice too! This spot deserves some more love.
