Superb doesn’t even begin to describe the food we sampled at Elsie’s on a dreary Tuesday evening. The atmosphere was charming, warm, inviting and intimate. The staff, Eric, Renee and bartenders were so kind, insightful and delighted to make suggestions — but the food, was out of this world. I’ve eaten at so many of the best restaurants all around the country, yet here we have a real gem right in my back yard. We had absolutely outstanding, melt in your mouth Korean Sticky Short Ribs that were tender, juicy, sweet and spicy all at once, followed by a Shrimp Scampy that was worthy of Michelin Stars. Seriously. They were cooked PERFECTLY. Not rubbery, not mushy. Tender, with just the right bite and they were MASSIVE and flavorful. Delightfully crisp panko bread crumbs, a luxurious creamy sauce and al dente fettuccine rounded out the best Shrimp dish I’ve had in ages. My partner had a beautiful eggplant parmesan that was crispy, tender with just the right amount of delicious house made sauce and topped with melted cheese. While on the more pricy side, I would say whole heartedly its worth EVERY PENNY. Dont sleep on desserts here either! We didnt have room to eat them there but went home with a piece of the most delicious looking Carrot Cake. If its anywhere even near half as good as the meal we’re in for a treat. 11/10 Must try!!

What a fabulous restaurant! Great service great people. Cozy little spot nicely decorated on the inside. There were four of us that found seat seats at the bar. We had three appetizers and four main dishes or different drinks and it was literally 10 for 10. amazing chef large portions. No one was dissatisfied. She definitely going to try the brunch. I will be back. forgot to mention the desserts, carrot cake, crème brûlée chocolate chocolate lava. Apple crisp. If you don’t order in time, they sell out.

The best dining experience we have had in a long time! Service was excellent, literally every staff member said either hello and/or thanks for coming. Meals were hot and delicious. Picture comfort food but make it fancy Not a ton of seating so make sure to get a reservation. Can’t wait to try brunch!

Great food, great service and a fun and festive atmosphere! I’ve been to Elsie’s many times and it always delivers. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the food is consistently delicious. It was beautifully decorated for the holidays too and I’m hoping they make that an annual tradition!

Extremely ridiculous experience!!!
I really had such a bad time at this restaurant last night. We had a reservation at 7pm for 4 people. We were sitting outside waiting for someone to come over. No one came to even offer us water and it was 7:20. I had to go in and let the host know that we had been sitting for 20 mins for someone to come over. We were seen and ignored by multiple staff members while they brought food and drinks to tables next to us.
After talking to the host, someone finally came over and took drinks order. The drinks didn’t come for another 20 mins. It was 7:45 by the time we got the drinks. I had asked if they had a table inside since we were getting chilly then they said not right now so I made an inside reservation for 8:30 to have main course inside.
They didn’t come to take our apps order for another 15 mins. We finally ordered apps at 8pm. I let the server know I had made a reservation at 8:30 for inside online and the server said, “yeah if it’s available you can go inside”. Why would you take a reservation if it’s not available? Then the server said she will check on the availability for 8:30 even though I had reservation confirmation. Then when we got our apps around 8:20pm she said the table would be available at 8:30 for inside.
After finishing the appetizers we went inside at 8:30, however we were told the table isn’t ready yet and it will be another 5-10 mins. We waited at the vestibule and ordered the food before we sat down so we wouldn’t have to wait like the host suggested. We waited for 30 mins just for the table. We finally sat down at like 9pm. We had already ordered our food while waiting and it came at 9:30. The place closes at 10pm. We finished our food and left at 10:05pm.
The worst part about all of this is that there were no apologies, no acknowledgement that the service was egregious, and no accommodations made to make us feel atleast a little comfortable. Not even a complimentary coffee while we waited. For a pricey place this felt like such a waste of time and money while being treated so badly. We were there for 3 hours and left right after finishing our food. The food was good.
I don’t know if this was just last night but if you’re charging so much for food then pay enough to the workers so you’d be fully staffed and prepared for the reservations you take on. It also didn’t seem like other tables were waiting as long.
They clearly have preferential treatment depending on the customer. Four brown women didn’t attract decent service. We were ignored so much! I am so dissatisfied and disappointed because I had waited so long to eat at this place knowing it is a small business and would require local support. I will never go back.

They all were so attentive to us and made sure that we understood that they were all there to make sure we had an excellent dining experience. I stopped here for dinner Sunday night, I was lucky enough to get a seat at the bar. This place is amazing; the atmosphere is elegant and cozy, the food is fantastic-I had lamb chops, they were delicious! The staff are friendly…Jen works the bar, she takes great care of her customers and makes a fantastic drink. There is an incredible story behind this restaurant….when you get there, tell Renee(the owner), Kathleen sent you and ask her to tell you the story, it’s wonderful!

We had an exceptional experience for our first visit to Elsie’s Table. The ambiance is fresh and bright, the owners and waitstaff are welcoming, friendly, and efficient.
For brunch the two of us had roasted Brussel’s sprouts with black garlic aoili, small order of grilled Caesar salad, tuna tartare, and blackberry whipped feta dip with basil and crostini, plus pillowy house-made donut sticks with a creamy sweet spread. Light, simple, yet complex all at the same time. No leftovers!
Everything was fabulous—could not have been better. The amount of care and intelligence that goes into the food is impressive. We cannot wait to go back and try other menu items.

Elsie’s Table was an absolute delight and the perfect way to kick off the first brunch of 2026. From the moment we walked in, the décor completely stole the show. It was warm, festive, and beautifully styled, with incredible attention to detail that made the space feel cozy and special, especially on a snowy day.
The food was just as impressive. I had one of the best omelets I’ve had in a long time, perfectly cooked and filled with a medley of fresh vegetables and creamy goat cheese, which is such a rare and welcome option on brunch menus. Every bite felt thoughtful, balanced, and made with care.
What truly elevated the experience was the staff. Everyone was incredibly sweet, friendly, and welcoming, making us feel right at home despite the winter weather outside.
