By far, worst experience at a restaurant I ever had in my life. And Ive been to some bad places let me tell you. Not only was the food trash and WAY OVER PRICED but the service WAS HORRIBLE!!!!! It took an hour and a half before I had food in front of my face and another 45 minutes before I could even get it to go box to leave. It was almost as if we were invisible in there. Crazy!!! AND THATS WITH A RESERVATION. Completely ruined my valentines day evening with my Wife. Worst decision I made so far this year. Seriously regret ever going.

We love coming here. The vibe is funky in the best way—a mix of an old-school bar and upscale dining. But the views are the real showstopper, and the pasta is just as impressive.

Go here for Sunday brunch. You will not be disappointed. Deals like this simply don’t exist anymore. And the servers were very attentive, always keeping our champagne glasses full. I will definitely be back.

We decided to spend Memorial Day Weekend in Clear Lake California. It was a Friday evening We arrived here at 6:30PM it was very quiet in the restaurant (didn’t see anyone in this area) but we heard a lot of music and singing in the bar. Looked like Karaoke. When we walked into the bar through the other glass door, opposite the restaurant, everyone stopped to stare(?) at us. I can tell they were regulars/locals almost like out of a movie. We took a seat to watch the singer. Soon after, a young server appeared to our table, his name was Jeremy. I asked Jeremy what time does the restaurant side open, and he said 5pm. (It was 6:33pm). The restaurant was empty.

We got up from the movie set, and Jeremy escorted us across the way, to the restaurant side. I asked if we could sit outside, and he obliged! Outside was NO customers but the most spectacular and perfect view of Clear Lake! (I imagine I could have had my Wedding and Reception here) Another server showed up to take our drink order after dropping off our water and warm bread and butter. Her name was Miriam. I found out later that she was promoted from dishwasher to bus girl. Both were extremely professional, kind, and accommodating. Normally, when a restaurant is empty, like this, it is usually a red flag.

I inquired about the Bartenders’ mixology skills, to Guage what drink I was to order, and Miriam ensured us that the bartender knew his assignment! Miriam was spot on! Perfect!!! Our (Top Shelf) Long Island Ice Teas did not disappoint!

We placed our order: Prime Rib Medium Well with Rice for me, and Wifey had the Seafood Linguine. My salad with thousand island came first, and I forgot to say “no onions.” Once I removed the obvious fresh red onions, the salad was enjoyable!

I couldn’t resist asking my server where all the restaurant customers were. They say it was Memoral Day weekend, and people go out of town. We could hear the bar side was packed with neighbors and regulars singing Karaoke, and actually sound nice.

Entrées arrived. I was literally shocked of the prime rib presentation! Hot, Seasoned, Tender, Tasty! Melted in my mouth!! My official compliments to the Chef!

Seafood Linguine was a good choice for Wifey, with no complaints. Long Islands are doing the job! Jeremy and Miriam took turns checking in on us to ensure customer satisfaction!

I asked Miriam about desert and she recited it like it was a Easter Speach. Wifey chose the warm brownies with ice cream.
$100 later plus a well deserved $20 tip we were out the door and very satisfied. As we were walking out I saw 3 tables of customers they were working on.

As a result of our experience here I will definitely return and hope to see these two professionals Jeremy and Miriam again!!

This place is a hidden nugget. More of a blue collar feeling. Service was great, staff friendly and efficient, food very good. I had a crab omlet, Chris had a jalapeño popper omlet. Views were Incredible.

Spouse and I arrived for lunch. No one in the lobby. Stood around a while and watched the fish in the tank. And waited. And waited.
Finally a waiter came by and asked if we were waiting to be seated. We said yes. Waiter then disappeared. Hoped it was to get someone.
And we waited. And waited.
Finally someone I assume is the host took us to a table. And we waited. And waited.
Seeing the pattern?
Long story short, we were there for an hour and never even saw our food. We eventually just got up and left before it arrived (some say it’s still being prepared to this day) as we had to be somewhere else.
We don’t even know if they noticed.
Overheard another table complain that their food was cold. Imagine waiting over an hour for your food for it to be cold. And it wasn’t even busy!!
The decor is old and outdated as well but I could easily overlook that if the food arrived and was remotely tasty.
The view is fantastic and I’m guessing it’s how this place even stays in business. I was talking about bringing my family over when they’re in town. That’s not happening now that I know we likely wouldn’t get fed.
Can’t in good conscience recommend this place to anyone looking for a meal. Maybe if you just sit at the bar and sip and look around it’s ok.

We love going to this place! The vibe is funky, with it being a mix between an old bar and upper-scale dining. But the VIEWS are where it’s at! And so is the pasta.
