This place is a godsend for late-night munchies. Amazing food, friendly service, and open extremely late – what more could you ask for? The bulgogi was a large portion and was tender and umami without being too sweet. The soybean soup could have used a bit more flavor, but I appreciated it being packed with tofu, zucchini, and other extras. Banchan was good, and I liked the option of having purple rice! Would save this spot for a late-night feast.

In an over saturated market of Korean food, Gui Gui is our favorite K BBQ place in the area. The meat is quality, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere feels like you are part of their family. The side dishes are fresh and there is often an option for purple rice, not just white. We highly recommend this hole-in-the-wall treasure.

Great food & service! We ordered beef intestines for bbq. But we overcooked (or something, I still don’t know), so it’s really hard to chew. We mention it to the server. They immediately offer to cook us a new plate of beef intestines. And the new one is one of the best gopchang that I’ve ever had!! Very soft and doesn’t have the strong bitter taste that some other gopchang has. If you were inexperienced in bbq like us, I recommend having the kitchen cook beef intestines for you as well. Other food was great too like the other review mentioned.

I had ojingeo-bokkeum on the mind and pulled into the closest Korean restaurant Google maps found: 9292. On the smaller side of many Korean BBQ joints I’ve eaten at. Came with a friend who had been wanting to try Tteok-bokki for a long while. Service was quick and steady; our food arrived 15 minutes after placing our order. This is my first time having tteok-bokki in my spicy squid stir fry. Not bad at all, just wasn’t expecting it. The flavors were typical of ojingeo and I appreciate the amount of squid that was in the dish. Some places like to put a bunch of veggies and you end up with like 4-5 pieces of squid. The cheesy Tteok-bokki was good. My buddy really loved the hell out of it. It was fun watching her eat and gripe about why she hadn’t eaten it sooner. Even had some makgeolli. Can’t forget the makgeolli!

I think the banchan was pretty well made here. Spicy pork and squid stir fry had a ton of flavor. Honestly, would get it over the dakgalbi if I came here again. Food was pretty spicy for people who haven’t had spice in awhile.

Average food for above average price, with below average service. During my entire dinner time, no one came by to check with water and side dishes. After the meal I had to walk to the front desk to pay the bill. Table and seats are greasy and not properly cleaned. Side dishes are sub par and in very small quantity. Will not come back again.

We had a very pleasant dinner at Sottukkeong. The ribeye, brisket, and short rib were delicious. The japchae was well seasoned and had a lot of flavor. Service was prompt and warm. We’re really not sure why the place is not more busy but fortunately we were able to get a table rather easily.
