I called to place a call ahead order. They put me on hold, I waited 15 minutes and then I hung up assuming they forgot about me. I tried to call back for the next 30+ minutes and they must’ve left the line off the hook so it was busy. I was in no rush, I would’ve come anytime they told me it was ready. And I understand leaving it off the hook when you’re super busy, but how about just tell me that I need to come in. I’ll go to Chick-fil-A instead. This is posted mainly for the owners… obviously your business will survive with one less lunch order, but if I were the owner, I would want to know this business practice.
Update: the Penn Station reply to me was asking me to go to their website to fill out a form so they could inform the owner. That’s pretty sloppy, clearly either an automated reply or you hired an intern to do your social media. You’re really asking me to go to your website to fill out a form so that you can “find” the owner?! I am literally posting the review on the Penn Station store in Sandusky Ohio. Come on Penn Station, do better.
… and even though I’m leaving this review, your chicken teriyaki subs are the best thing ever! So this is nothing to do with hate, the food is incredible, this is only about the management of this store.

I placed an order online yesterday 12/10/25 for delivery through Door dash… I ordered the monthly special which was Create your own Dagwood. First, I thought the order came east coast style which it didn’t and it also didn’t give me the option to add veggies either. So upon delivery I noticed I only received a meat and cheese sandwich. 2nd drinks come with the monthly special however it also didn’t give me the option to pick my drink so I had to pay an extra $3.00 for a drink that should’ve been included. I paid $25.00 to have this food delivered to me at work, I called the store and spoke with the GM who was very argumentative with me and when asked could I get a credit for the next time I ordered I was told she could only give me credit for the pop that I paid extra for. I’m a local, and love Penn Station and order often but I’m very dissatisfied in the way this situation was handled yesterday.

Very slow service. Placed an order online for 2 subs and it took 25 minutes longer than the ready time. Also ordered lemonade, but they didn’t have any. They seemed to be confused on all of the orders they were working on and didn’t acknowledge the wait until I talked to the manager. He did provide compensation, but they need to get it together.

Walked in and got an attitude from the guy taking our order because he had to take our order. While the other girl sat on her phone the whole time. Walked outside went to go back in and the door was locked. Went to get our food and asked for fresh fries but they wouldn’t make fresh fries and just got more attitude.so we get to eat hard fries. If you don’t like your job or don’t want to do it then why even work.also wore no hairnet or gloves while making our food.

First and foremost walking into the establishment you were greeted by all the workers with super super cheer and true motivation to help all customers and especially within a decent time. Amber the new GM literally went out of her way to make sure me and my Mother were happy with everything, even gave us both a complimentary cookie due to a minor error leaving out the extra fry order we had ordered. Really well ran clean and drama free establishment where the customer actually feels like they come first! Will definitely be going back and for sure recommend!! Thank you again Amber!!
