Libby’s Ice Cream is a must-visit in Fortville! The location is incredibly convenient with plenty of parking, and you can’t miss it since it’s right next to the iconic, enormous pink elephant—perfect for a quick photo op. They have a fantastic setup with both indoor and outdoor seating, plus a drive-thru for when you’re on the move. I was impressed by their wide selection, ranging from fresh scooped flavors to ready-scoop grab-and-go options; my absolute favorite is the egg nog! To top it off, the staff was friendly and helpful, making the whole experience great.

We came to Libby’s on Main today and absolutely loved it.
The place is super nice and welcoming, and we really enjoyed seeing the photos of local kids from the community on the walls — such a thoughtful, hometown touch that makes the space feel special.
The service was truly second to none. Kendall and Laney were amazing — friendly, patient, attentive, and great with the kids. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests and the experience.
Fantastic atmosphere, outstanding service, and a place we’ll definitely keep coming back to. Highly recommend!

Our family stops at Libby’s Frozen Treats all the time, so we already knew the ice cream was solid. This year we booked their private room for my granddaughter’s birthday, and it was a great choice. The space was easy to use, the staff had everything ready, and the kids genuinely had a good time. If you need a simple, reliable spot for a family celebration—or just a regular ice cream run—Libby’s is always worth it.

Everything about this little piece of heaven is lovely! The ice cream, variety of dishes (smoothies, shakes, sundaes, slushies, tornadoes, sorbet, twisters, ice cream sandwiches, about 15 toppings/add-ons, they even have gluten-free ice cream sandwiches and cones!), books, couples games, toys, gifts; they’re all incredible! We are lifetime customers, love our little ice cream shop ♥️

Amazing Rocky Road ice cream! Most places have marshmallow cream/swirl, not this place. They have yummy marshmallows that taste fresh as of they added them to each serving! This will be our family’s favorite go to for ice cream! Thank you!

Libby’s Ice Cream is absolutely your best option as an alternative for wedding cakes in the Indy area! To start, their ice cream tasting is phenomenal. We were overwhelmed with all their flavor options – in a good way! After deciding to go with ice cream for our wedding day we already knew Libby’s was the way to go, she was a delight to work with in helping us narrow down our flavors and working up a quote. We never felt like we were being upsold or pushed to spend more than we wanted. Past that, they were solid with communication, the ice cream showed up on time and as expected (looking PHENOMENAL), and tasted AMAZING! We got so many compliments from our wedding guests on it. Overall – highly, highly recommend!

Great local ice cream shop. I’ve tried several flavors in a dish and they are all good. I usually get a sundae though. Libby’s makes THE BEST! Don’t forget to check the freezer too. The ice cream sandwiches and brownies are good too.

It was busy (i.e., popular), and I can see why. The ice cream was worth the wait. We ate inside the facility, and it was a pleasant, enjoyable place to eat. Temperature was nicely cool inside, so thankfully our ice cream didn’t just melt uncontrollably! Recommended 5 stars.
