It’s hard to believe that I’m writing a 5-star review of the bar/restaurant at the Ramada Inn. That said, this was ABSOLUTELY a 5-star experience!
I was staying across the street. I asked the shuttle driver about dinner and he mentioned several other places. I did some recon before the trip and planned accordingly, right up until I got off the plane and realized I was tired. That changed the plan. The driver told me that dine-in and pizza was the way to go so I braved the cold (10f) and headed over for dinner.
Glad I walked! Surprised to find Eagle Rare on their bar. Generous pour of a hard to find whisky with a $10 price tag? Now that’s rare!
Pizza was next. They have a LOT of options but I chose to keep it simple with my standard order: sausage & onion. Pizza arrived right out of the oven. Square slices. Big chunks of hand-formed sausage (I ordered the spicy variety so Italian). Slight caramelization of the cheese where the it hit the baking surface. The dough itself was nicely risen and retained a slight yeasty taste. Chewy on the inside and crispy/crunchy on the outside. The sauce was on nice and slightly on the robust side. Onions cut to a size where they easily became soft and translucent. All in all a nearly perfect pie!
I’ve read their other reviews and cannot comment on anything beyond dining-in and having pizza. That was an absolutely perfect experience and highly recommended if you find yourself in the area and in need of a meal.

The Bandera bread taste like the dough was fried in the frier then cheese tossed on top and pushed through the oven. The Pizza on the other hand was good, not as warm as I thiught it would be but still good. Service was good, atmosphere is chlorinated as you. It is directly next to the hotels pool.

Our bartender Kayla and server Kinney were absolutely amazing this weekend! Yesterday morning and this morning Kinney provided the best, fastest service and was so friendly and make the atmosphere perfect for our family of 3. Great server! And Kayla made absolutely perfect drinks and service!!!!

I ordered shrimp and chicken pasta and mbb burger. The food took 45min i asked the manager where our food was. It’s about a 1/2 hour, and he said he would be right back. I’ve never seen him again. The table that came in behind us. Got their food 10 minutes before us. Then when we did get our food finely, it was room temperature. The pasta didn’t know what they did to the shrimp. But gross the sauce tasted, like they got it from the dollar store that was expired. We took 2 bites of our food and left it behind the manager walked by. Never said nothing didn’t get a discount or anything. There was only one table in the restaurant. I DO NOT RECOMMEND

Waitress missed 2 of the 5 orders. The kids meals were over cooked. By the time the 2 orders showed the other 3 had already eaten. Noodles from our pasta dishes were undercooked. Their web site said kids eat free on Sundays. (1 of the reasons we picked it.) Yet we were charged and when we questioned it we were told oh we dont do that. No other suggestions were offered. Will not be going back to this place.

The food is great, but bring a snack. You’ll need it so you don’t get hangry waiting for them to come take your order and get your food. After the snack, order a meal to go, for after your main meal due to them taking forever to get your ticket to pay.
I know this sounds ridiculous but we were in there for 4 hours. Most of that time was waiting for food, drinks, then paying. It took our server 1.5hrs just to get the tickets correct and process payments.

Oh boy…where to start. This place must have been severely understaffed, that’s the only explanation I can come up with. The service was slow and our server was snippy. Our food took a long time and when we finally received it, our wings were cold. They did take them back and brought them back warm. Taco pizza was nothing to write home about and looked unappetizing. The cheese pizza has a tiny bit of cheese in the middle. The only saving grace was the twisted mac and cheese. That was really good.
