I’ve had a lot of hit-or-miss experiences at this Papa John’s store. Every order I’ve had is either great or completely awful, with no in-between. It’s important to note that this store has seemingly fired all their delivery drivers and only delivers through Doordash now. I could be wrong, but every order I’ve placed on their website in the last three years has been outsourced through Doordash. If they have official Papa John’s delivery drivers, I certainly haven’t seen them as of late.
There are many orders where I get cold, hard, dry, blah pizza that makes me immediately regret my decision. Then there are other orders where I get fresh, hot, tasty pizza full of juicy sauce. It’s like playing Russian roulette every time.
It’s hard to know if the issues stem from Papa John’s themselves or Doordash, but since Papa John’s has elected to replace a chunk of their workforce with Doordash, I can only lay the blame at their feet. There was one incident I had where the driver took the pizza out of his trunk, handed it to me, and I noticed the top of the box had dirt (like from a potted plant) and fleas on it. Disgusting.
What’s even more bizarre is that this store charges an absurdly high $7.25 delivery fee. $7.25 and they can’t even pay delivery drivers to work for them. When I add a $5 tip, that’s already $12.75 before I’ve even ordered anything! Ultimately, the declining quality in Papa John’s ingredients isn’t worth it at this price, especially with much better pizza options to choose from.

Came in late (8:30pm) and staff was awesome!! Super friendly, patient (I’m incredibly awkward), polite, and did the job right!
I see they have reviews for messing up orders but let me tell y’all the only fast food I’ve eaten for YEARS now is Pizza Hut but they mess up my order EVERY TIME, are overpriced, and genuinely increasingly taste disgusting now adays, I just kept going (albeit less and less) because I hate change with food.
I’m not gonna say the pizza was like incredible but it’s pretty good and more importantly they made my order PERFECTLY and quickly. I’m not someone who can say “oh well it was pretty simple” I can admit my order is annoying. It was also super cheap and piping hot! I’ve never received a Pizza Hut pizza any more than warm and the prices suck recently.
Y’all I swear I’m not a Papa John’s industry plant I was just very impressed. The crust is quite bland, no fault of the staff I know it comes premade, I’ll just douse the whole thing in hot sauce lol.

Manager is so kind. Not only did we get our pizza ,but also he followed through till uber eats was at my door. Coming from Savannah, GA. He was the first person nice to us! We’re having a family emergency ,and needed some comfort food for our gathering. Amazing Grace!!

I normally have no issues with my orders. They’re always right and get here fast. This is my store I order from regularly. Tonight the driver couldnt find my place and in the process must’ve tilted or dropped my pizza…. it came out with all the toppings and cheese on one side.. a little irritated but hopefully it’s a one time thing.

Ordered pizza on the papa John’s app, for delivery it required a $22 minimum order, so I ordered a couple other things that I really didn’t want but whatever, after delivery fee of $7.49 and a 15% tip total came out to $36.99. Ordered at 5:24pm, expected delivery time 6:24 to 6:34pm. At about 6pm I get a text from door dash saying papa John’s was out of a drink selection I made and if I had an alternative. I texted the number back with and alternative. The store is less than 10min from my house I could have and should have done a pick up but was busy taking care of my wife after her stay in the hospital. I checked the app, pizza on its way at 6:10pm. At 6:30 still not arrived, checked app said it was delivered……….well I sure didn’t have it. At 6:40pm called store, they said they sent it via door dash due to lack of drivers and it was 5min away according to them. It arrived at 6:49pm. I net the driver, took my pizza inside all excited to eat some pizza with garlic dip. Opened the box and found the pizza all smashed up, wrong sauce with the cheese sticks and everything cold. Contacted papa John’s a they gave me a coupon code for a future purchase. I don’t think I’ll be using it or them again and I don’t and won’t be using door dash.

I do Uber eats if you’re ever hungry just ask for their cancellation order. They will usually have some and if they do, the guy will offer you some pizza and ask if you can have a half a pie and they will give you it because they are amazing and definitely doing that again

Asked my brother to be in my wedding (I live in Ohio) and wanted them to deliver a pizza with a pepperoni question mark on top and also write “will you be my groomsman” on the box! It came out beautifully and worked perfectly! Appreciate their help !!
