We finally tried Carbonero for the first time a couple of weeks ago after hearing so many great things. The aesthetic immediately stood out, and there was plenty of seating available. We were seated at a table and greeted right away, which set a great tone. We ordered the pupusas along with the carne asada, and everything was delicious. The horchata was especially good—and much larger than I expected! You definitely get great portions for the price. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and will absolutely be back.

Great presentation It was a decent meal. I think I will like other things from there better than what I picked yesterday. My husband liked his burrito, but bc I don’t eat pork anymore I don’t think I’ll ever find a tamale that tastes as good as the memories I had in Texas, but the chicken one was pretty good. I think I’ll try a chimichanga next time. I hope that the patrons aren’t as freaking loud next time but that wasn’t the restaurants fault.

Overall a good experience although the service, especially getting our food took a little longer than expected (20-25 minutes). Food is very good. Their fresh juices are great. We tried their fresh squeezed lemonade. If the kitchen can figure out their timing, it would be a 5 star.

This is a fairly new Latin restaurant that has a small cafe feel. The food is great and reasonably priced. The staff is very kind and hard working as there are typically 3-4 women running the restaurant. We’ll definitely be back.

My niece and I dined at Carbonero’s to try food for a catering event. The service was wonderful and the food was delicious. We had a variety of pupusas and tacos, all were delicious. Mario, the owner, sat with us while we hashed out a menu for the event. The total was reasonably priced, but more importantly, the food was exceptional! There was no “bait and switch” on the quality for the catered event as opposed to the dinner. Everyone raved about the food and there was plenty left over for people to take home. I highly recommend Carbonero’s for your dining and catering needs.

Large menu of tacos, burritos, etc excellent chips and salsa. Option to order at counter or sit down and order. Decent tacos although I got immediately nauseated after I ate one taco. Not sure if something was spoiled or not.

Friendly staff and good food. Restaurant opened on 10/18/2024. The restaurant has a modern design. If you’d like to dine in like I did, they have 7 tables each with four chairs and have another section with longer tables for bigger groups. The meal came with complimentary chips and salsa. The salsa was thin but had a good flavor and mild spice. The cashier was very friendly. Not a fast joint so take your time as it seemed the food was made to order as it took 25 minutes to get my carnitas burrito. The pork seemed overcooked but everything else in the burrito was good. I finished my hefty burrito in 10 minutes and was looking forward to having my chicken tamale (Tamales De Pollo); and chicken and cheese papusa (Pollo/Queso Papusas). 14 minutes later they arrived (39 minutes after paying for order). I didn’t see the mild tomato sauce that was supposed to come with my papusa but since I had salsa left over, I used some of that instead. I must say that their papusa was good but down the street, el Asador has great Papusas. I can’t comment too much about the tamale as I haven’t ate a lot of them in my life. But, if this restaurant was going to be your first time trying a tamale, I would recommend trying something else on their menu. Thanks.

Everything we tried at this place was absolutely amazing! The bandeja paisa was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The smoothie was also very good, rich and smooth. If you’re looking for delicious, homemade-style everything tastes fresh, just like a meal made at home. The portions are big and good price. The service is warm and friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming.

WOWW absolutely amazing and delicious food. Lemonade was soooo good, to the point I needed a refill. Service was 5 stars everyone was really nice and attentive!! Will definitely be back some time again. We got flan and empanadas de leche to go but sadly the empanadas were too dry and seems like the plantain breading was too hard. Flan was ok.
