We have eaten in this restuarant a dozen times and l;ast night was no exception to their food consistency, great service , and friendly atmosphere. We ate just incredibly prepared food starting with a Panelle roll, house salad, shrimp and scallop fra diablo, eggplant parmesan and a tri flavored spamoni. Everything was delicious, plated perfectly and served hot ready to be devoured. Try this restaurant one time and you will become a regular there too.

I stumbled across this gem with a couple of the fellas after the game and am so glad that brought me. The food was extremely authentic and delicious, it felt like someone’s Nonna was in the back whipping up everything from scratch! I had the trio, which consisted of veal, shrimp and chicken parm, with rigatoni. One of my partners had the eggplant rollatini, which also looked delightful and he said it hit on every level. The fresh bread they gave us before the apps was also baked on site and fresh out of the oven. Even the homemade vinaigrette they gave with the salad was perfect. For apps we had wings, which had the perfect buffalo spice but not too hot but rather flavorful. Alone with crispy calamari that wasn’t over breaded. And the rice balls were a nice surprise as well. Overall the meal couldn’t have been better. The service was 5 star, our waitress was extremely attentive and far from overbearing, and even the bus boy made sure to keep our glasses filled and plates cleared without being noticed. So glad I came across this place and would definitely will come back and suggest this to others. I also want to note we had a very large party of 15 that they accommodated even though they had a packed house. It was a warm and homely feel, which is something you don’t always get these days.

Creepy Uncle Dave here. I visited this place with my nieces and nephew. These kids love this place. They have really good food and I like it too. My boss once said if your product was good and you give your customer a complimentary gift, in most cases you will obtain repeat business. Well, being the advantageous employee that I was, I took it upon myself to use the company card to buy my customers some complimentary gifts. $1500 later my boss got the the bill and didn’t quite see my logic and demanded that I return the gifts. Do you know what it’s like to try to return $1500 in fishing lures. Gee’s, he’s got no sense of humor. Anyway my littlest niece loves the fact that they will make her a personal pizza with no cheese (I know, I know) and offer you complimentary bread when we sit down. My oldest niece always orders the shrimp scampi. I’m not a big seafood fan so I can’t pass judgement on that but she never complains. My nephew ordered a cheeseburger. I have to say, it looked amazing. I had the Penne Vodka that came with a salad. My meal was very tasty and went down swiftly with beat of the music playing over the speakers in the dining room. Hey, it set the mood for an enjoyable evening with the kids and they got to see me break out and dance a little. I mean, I do a mean Elaine.(IFYKYK). My Mom once told me to dance like nobody was watching so I closed my eyes and promptly tripped over a vase and rolled down the stairs like a bag of wet hair. Anyway, check this place out. The people here are super friendly and don’t think it’s weird to order pizza without cheese. Tell them I sent ya.

Gave these guys a few chances. Last time I ever order here. Burned pizza, and an “Italian” sub with the cheapest salami money can buy. Literally smelled like 4 dead animals, the salami. You guys have 1 job – make good food. It’s clear no one there give a damn about the consistency, quality, or even the taste of the food served. Why even be in business to sell food if you don’t care what you serve or how its cooked? What, to make money? I guess so. Terrible spot that serves pretty nasty food that lacks both quality and attention to detail.

The eggplant was delicious, and according to my husband so was the veal. I tried chicken marsala and it was the worst I ever had. Extremely bland and flavorless. We were only in the area for a month due to a death in the family. Decided to order two sandwiches about an hour prior to closing one night. It took almost an hour to get them, but we did not eat them until we returned to the house we were staying at. Sadly they were already closed by the time we opened them. They were both very burnt!! They should have NEVER served them! I did not contact them about it because they obviously could see that they were very burnt but chose to deliver them anyway!!! Obviously we never went back for the rest of our stay!! If they weren’t burnt they would have been delicious!!! I would honestly go back next time we visit and ask them to please not burn my food because it was delicious, and I do recommend them!!!!

La Dona is truly a great place to meet up with family and friends for a fantastic meal. When we first walked in, we were warmly greeted by the owner Russel, then we were quickly seated and enjoyed a delicious meal.
We started with th Artichoke Oreganata ( Amazing!). Then, for my main, I had the shrimp and scallops, but instead of having it over pasta, I requested sauteed spinach.

Chicken Vodka pie was over cooked and lacked sauce and cheese. $31 for thin crust burnt dough. Vodka sauce at least tasted good, despite the fact most of the pizza was missing it. Maybe we spoiled ourselves during the pandemic, but I make better pizza than this and for half the cost. Eggplant roll had cheese melted into the bag and it was clearly not made/prepared today, possibly not even yesterday. We threw it out after taking a small bite. Very sad as this place used to be good.

Amazing pizza here! Got to try the chicken parm and pasta today and it was some of the best I’ve found around here! I also met the awesome new owner of this establishment, and he was a sincere and passionate man wanting to do things right for the customers. When an owner truly cares, that ripples through the rest of the business and makes everything just that much better! Looking forward to eating there often.
