When we heard City Sliders at Westlawn was planning to serve brunch we knew we had to try it. With an already stellar dinner and lunch, we were certain that brunch would be excellent! City Sliders did not disappoint! The Huevos Rancheros was the best we’ve had on the eastern seaboard! The roasted potatoes were cooked to perfection. The house-made chicken sausage was fantastic. Friendly staff and warm setting topped off a perfect dining experience.

We dined at the bar in a chilly Sunday afternoon in November. The menu was extensive and intriguing. We had the crab dip, which was good. The crab wasn’t jumbo lump, but it had plenty of crab flavor and a little spice to it. We loved the sliders – lamb and Korean-inspired pork belly. The French fries that came with were definitely not an afterthought. I could order them alone. We finished with coffee, tea, and a pistachio cannoli. Great meal, cozy restaurant, friendly service

Great place in North Beach. Don’t let the name trick you It is way more than a burger joint. Great selection of entrees and soups and salads. Great service. All near the beach. Can’t ask for much more. Must stop if in the area. Excellent gluten free and vegetarian options too.

So glad we tried this place for dinner. From the moment we walked in, were greeted, had a cocktail at the bar, and sat down outside for dinner it was on point! Jenny made some kick-ass manhattans and Krista was a sweet and gracious server, never obtrusive but always there when needed. We both had the surf & turf and both were cooked to perfection. What a lovely dinner to end our long weekend there. Thank you for making it memorable!

First time trying out City Sliders since we are new to the area and I really wanted to like the place. It’s listed as a “Steakhouse” but I think that is to justify their high prices. It is not a Steakhouse…I’d categorize it as more of a place to get sliders and beers – hence the sliders part. The cocktails were just okay. (Old Fashion and a Martini) We also got wine and you would expect a steakhouse to have a wine menu but there were just a few listed wines to order by the glass. They did say we could order by the bottle – which we did.

The appetizers were okay. You have to pay $6 for bread.

The steaks in my opinion are not worth it. I got a $65 ribeye and for comparison, Ruth’s Chris ribeye’s are $61. What I received was an Ihop restaurant level ribeye. The cut was very thin – maybe a 1″ thick piece. The plate wasn’t hot and I had a plastic handle – steak knife. The meat tasted fine but the cut and presentation are not $65 worth.

Icing on the cake was our server did not check on us for 30 minutes to the point that we had finished our food, drinks and were just waiting for the check. (Mind you we were one of two couples in the entire restaurant spending a decent amount of money) We actually were planning on trying the desert too but our patience had ran out by the time we flagged another server down that had passed by.

Overall, I give it a 2/5. The atmosphere is nice and in an ideal location. The food was okay. My best advice is to go into it as going to a pub, not elegant dining or you will be disappointed. Especially since we paid $300 for our meal. I’ll be by again for some beers and sliders and watch whatever game is on their TV’s but this is not the place to have a candle lit dinner date.

Arrived for a reservation. We were greeted and sitting quickly. We first sat outside but asked if we would move inside. The outside atmosphere was nice with the fire units, but we were not dressed for the weather. We ordered some garlic herb fries outside. The staff quickly made a table ready for us inside. The garlic & Herb fries were good, but portion for the price was not worth it. The milkshakes and sliders were great. They did not have their bar open yet, however the dinner experience was still great. We ordered a roasted s’mores milkshake, bison slider, Korean BBQ slider, 2 Sunrise sliders and a grilled cheese slider with more fries. Servers were great checking on us with drinks and timing of our food. I highly recommend getting 2 sliders and some fries per one person…especially if you are getting a shake too!

I’m the last person you would see order a slider, but every single bite I had here was so tasty! From the buttery buns to the great variety of fillings, I was impressed. I still won’t be ordering sliders regularly, unless they’re from here.

We were the only couple seated in the restaurant, on a Sunday at 6pm?! The food was good, as were the drinks. We will try again during warmer weather and hopefully there will be more of a crowd supporting this local eatery.

BLUF: expensive for the amount of food. Mixed drinks are amateur. $4 for a half a piece of bacon on a slider

$12 bang bang shrimp, $6 burgers, $4 for half a piece of bacon, $12 runny shake. The drinks were very amateur mix. I had the pineapple jalapeño margarita and it was almost all pineapple juice. Said something to the waitress and she said, “yeah everyone makes them different”. The food wasn’t bad it was just everyone was small sized with regular prices.

Cute place with a pretty good atmosphere. Small portions should equal smaller prices.

8pm on a Friday night and we are the only people left here

Despite not looking at the menu beforehand, I was pleasantly surprised by this place! We came here on a whim after learning that the kitchen at another restaurant was closing early. City Sliders has a lovely porch that welcomes dogs (luckily!!) The sliders my boyfriend and I had were amazing, as was the Caesar salad and truffle fries. Some commented that the place was overpriced. To us, it was what we’re used to paying for a night out, especially with a few drinks added on. Regardless, we really enjoyed ourselves. I would highly recommend checking this place out if you’re in the Chesapeake Bay or North Beach Area!
