Today I had the worst pizza I have had from a restaurant in years… and that pizza came from Pizza Pete’s. I ordered a thin crust sausage pizza with extra sausage and I received a hand tossed pizza without the extra sausage. I ordered plain (non-breaded) boneless wings and they made breaded. The pizza was so greasy on top that it pooled and we had to take paper towels to soak up the grease. We also ordered a Caesar salad that came with soft/soggy broken up pieces of rye bread as the croutons. They recently changed out their management for whatever reason which I think was a big mistake because there was quality control and commitment to quality food. They have been fantastic for years and now the quality has completely crashed. My recommendation is to stay away. Don’t let this place ruin your love for pizza. Check out the photos attached.
p.s. to top off the terrible experience, their order form allowed you to order a 2-L of Diet Coke… they delivered Diet Pepsi. lol

We ordered food on November 23rd. We ordered a deep dish pizza. The pizza had so much sauce on it and this is coming from a please put extra sauce on it for me person, but it was like soup. The person that made the pizza said she didn’t remember how to make one because it’s been so long since she had. She was nice though. The pizza also had a weird taste to it like it was sour. I had one piece and we had to throw it away. We also ordered the Italian bomber sandwich and there was no seasoning, it was rubbery, and the veggies were crunchy and not cooked.

Looks are deceiving. At first glance, the pizza looks alright, but the taste was just not there. Very heavy blend of herbs and spices that overpowered the pizzas. My kid wouldn’t even eat them.

Ordered online, went to the store at the time my order was supposed to be ready only to see them just put it in. Waited an additional 20 minutes in the store. Tv was blaring, and it was just an unpleasant experience to sit and wait. People seemed nice, though.

Overall, won’t be back.

My husband ordered two pizzas, an order of mozzarella sticks, and an order of cheese garlic bread for delivery. Fifteen minutes after the pizza was to be delivered my husband called and the gentleman said they don’t deliver, and we had to pick it up. It took a couple of days, but the manager did call my husband to apologize for the inconvenience and talk it out. Sounds like the manager thought there was a box for delivery unchecked on the website, but it turns out it wasn’t. We appreciated the phone call.

The mozzarella sticks were a bit plain, and the cheese garlic bread had many spices- not your typical cheesy garlic bread flavor. I’m surprised they both didn’t come with marinara sauce for dipping. The pizza was great! I’d recommend sticking to the pizza when you try it out!

What a disgrace my pizza was so under cooked it was sticking to the bottom of the box !!! DISGUSTING and then had to wait because the teenagers there did not drop my mozzarella sticks after a 25 minute pick up wait time. Do better people do better.

12/7/25 I ordered two pizzas and garlic bread, 40 minutes before the packer game today.Pizza Pete’s called to notify me that they didn’t have the Chicago style cheese pizza, so I said just do a regular cheese pizza and keep the margarita pizza and garlic bread. I showed up 20 minutes later (that’s how long they said) and the only thing ready was my garlic bread. They didn’t start any pizzas, only to hear they did not have the ingredients for my margarita pizza. From the half an hour wait, too the hour wait in the store to get only cheese pizza and cold garlic bread, which I watched sit under a heat lamp for an hour. I wasn’t satisfied and asked for some sort of compensation but got nothing. For my first time there, I don’t think I would return. 2 hours deep into one single pizza now, for my family on Sunday. Believe me, it was a waist of time. Hopefully the owner sees this and the employees relayed this message to them before they see it on here.

I love wings, and I was starting to believe that no one had meaty wings anymore. Nope! Pizza Pete’s has the tastiest, meatiest wings I have ever had! And my super picky son LOVES the pizza! To finish it off, they make their own cannoli! And those are delicious too! It’s clear everything is made with love!

I called Pizza Pete’s earlier in spring about potentially catering for my wedding in August and they asked that I called back a week or two prior to finalize our counts, to my disbelief the manager remembered our conversation and took care of us in a timely fashion. Our food was delivered during their off hours to accommodate our wedding reception. Food temp was good and warm and plates napkins pepper parm provided. Not to mention it was amazing. 1000% recommend them!

I have to hand it to the folks at Pizza Pete’s. You might not expect it, given their humble location, but there’s so much that they do RIGHT. I spoke with the cook, Isaiah, and the delivery driver, Zion, while I waited for my order and asked them about their food and their processes. They make their dough and sauce on-site daily, they hand slice all their vegetables (even the mushrooms!), they season things according to their own recipes, and they make everything to order. I’m not sure why, but I expected frozen dough, premixed sauce, dry boxed sausage “product,” and cheapo cheese, among other common shortcuts. Wow, they proved me wrong!! I have attached a photo of my pizza, but I want to be clear that I ASKED Isaiah to leave it in the oven for an extra 3-4 minutes. That’s because I prefer a somewhat well-done pie. It’s notable that they’ll give you choices like that. I should mention that they do have a few tables on-site, presumably for the “pizza-by-the-slice” crowd – but you shouldn’t expect the ambiance of a true dine-in Italian restaurant. That’s not who they are, and it’s not who they try to be (if it’s a romantic night out you’re looking for, there are other nearby options). This is a carryout and delivery place with truly good house-made pizza. So, if you want a carryout pizza from a unique non-chain restaurant, give Pizza Pete’s a try. Their food competes well with other area pizzerias.
