Excellent breakfast food that is SIMPLE. Word to the wise… this place is cash only. We had to go across the street to the atm at family dollar. The place itself is dated with very limited seating. There was only one table out of the entire restaurant that could accommodate 4 people so we got lucky today. We will definitely return to Irvs!

Old school diner with inexpensive, hearty fare. The staff are terrific. This place has been around for seventy years.

Friendly neighborhood breakfast spot. Food is good but just little higher than some other similar diners in 5 mile radius. Free parking in lot across the street otherwise it’s street parking by meters at a quarter for 30 minutes. Overall a great greasy spoon local diner. Thanks Dan for awesome breakfast & Paul for quick friendly service.

An original diner. You have to go. Great service and good food. Genuine menu. Pancakes were very good. Good coffee. My brother has been going for twenty years and if I lived here I would be too.

Heard this place was good so we went in on Saturday around 11 am. Place was pretty crowded but we figured it would be quick since it’s diner type. Placed our order – French toast with scrambled eggs, and a ham and cheese omelet. I wish we could tell you how it was, but we left after an hour and 20 minutes of not receiving our food. I would understand this if it seemed like they were putting out food for the people who were there before us, but instead they seemed to focus on the takeout orders. During the time we were there, there had to have been 30 or so orders walk out the door for pickup, and less than 5 people get served in the actual restaurant. Needless to say we were less than impressed and eventually left (I did leave a dollar on the table for the orange juice I drank).

Context: I can only speak to the pancakes, bacon, and hashbrowns as it’s the only things I’ve ever eaten from there.

I can’t rave or disparage this place. The food taste as it should, I guess. It’s nothing fancy or bland. It’s just…fine and there is nothing wrong with that. The atmosphere is cool though, it’s very snug but has a neighborhood feel. I like that.
