First things first: the web site and menu don’t really explain how the place works so we’ll start with that. After you get your seat you walk up to what looks like a deli counter to place your order for meat. All the meats are priced by the pound but some cuts require you to get at least a pound. For example, beef ribs require you to get a pound because they’re huge and one rib is one pound. Brisket comes as big or small as you want so you can get 8oz. Ask the guy at the counter about the types of meat you want. After they give you your food, you pay right at the counter (surcharge for credit and they’ll bring you the receipt at the end of your meal to add a tip).
By the time you get back to your table, the wait staff will have brought you rice, sauces and coleslaw. This is where you should also check the menu because they don’t necessarily bring everything. For example, we didn’t get the chimichurry sauce or the mashed potatoes. All sides come with the meat so you can get whatever you want and how ever much of the sides/sauces you want.
Ok, instructions out of the way, the food… We tried the brisket and beef ribs. The ribs were very good and came right off the bone. I wouldn’t say they’re the best I’ve ever eaten but I also usually prefer pork ribs
The brisket, however, was the best I’ve ever eaten. So tender you almost didn’t need teeth. Was amazing, flavorful and juicy, and to be honest didn’t need any of the sauces. My wife, who usually is a big sides person ate almost as much of the meat as I did which is huge for her.
All in all, we will definitely be back to have the brisket again. Definitely worth the price although it’s not cheap.
My wife wanted me to add that the sides weren’t very special… The rice was a bit plain, and the salad was just vinegar and oil for example.

It was definitely an interesting concept. You order the meat by pound and you get all the unlimited side dishes that are included in the menu. Since I am not a big fan of lamb, we ordered rib and brisket. Both of them were so tender and moist. It was very flavorful with a little hint of middle eastern flavor. The side dishes and sauces were all great. We loved the salad and four different kinds of pickled peppers. Soda and tea were included, so we tried the tea, and it was excellent. Our server was great and very attentive.

This restaurant is great. We got 1.5lbs of brisket. 1lb is good for 2 people but we wanted leftovers. The meat is great, the entire place is very clean and the decor is up to date. The sides were really good as well, we loved the garlic and also the chopped potatoes. The whole layout as far as getting the meat and all the sides and dips is a fun experience to go along with great food.

Absolutely fantastic. Little did we know we were in JUST as they opened (that’s on us) but the staff was super friendly and attentive, and everything was exquisite. We each got a meat and ALL OF THE SIDES HERE, and because it was the lunch special, each was only $19.99. We did order some of the mocktails, which were a little on the pricey side, but for $20/person for all this – not including the fact that this basically made two meals? We ate a lot of it and yet we couldn’t finish it! It was SO good though, and the brisket was probably the best I have ever eaten. The lamb was also cooked to perfection, and eat meat melted in our mouths. Each and every side accompanying fit wonderfully. Not necessarily a daily or even a weekly go to, but if you want to treat yourself to something amazing, and perhaps also treat someone else to a fantastic meal? Meat Moot is where you want to be.

Came to Meat Moot and wow… if you’re a meat lover, this place hits. You order your meat by the pound, and the sides are unlimited, which makes it such a good deal.
We got the ½ lb brisket and 1 lb ribs, and both were super satisfying. The brisket was tender, juicy, and well-seasoned with a nice smoky flavor definitely not dry. The ribs were the standout fall off by the bone soft, flavorful, and cooked perfectly.
The unlimited sides and sauces really complete the experience. There’s a great variety, and everything pairs well with the meat without overpowering it.
For drinks, I tried the Pearl mocktail with lychee, which was surprisingly good light, refreshing, slightly sweet, and a perfect balance after all the savory flavors.
Great portions, bold flavors, and a fun spot for a casual dinner or sharing platters with friends. Would absolutely come back to try more.

Spacious eating area, friendly staff the blonde young lady who served and greeted I and my brother was very professional and classy… the food was delicious we got the brisket 1 lbs each . Meat comes with rice, coleslaw, mashed potatoes, choice of drink and assortment of sauces… very filling. Make sure you go there on an empty stomach enjoy!

Great service and absolutely delicious meat! The smoked brisket and beef ribs were seasoned perfectly and just melted in your mouth. Generous portion sizes for the entire family. Only item we didn’t really like were the mocktails – none of them had any flavor or sparkling fizz to them – they were overly sweet and flat.

The meat was amazing! We grabbed an order of the brisket to-go. The side of rice and veggies was delicious as well. The gentleman that assisted us was very pleasant and he offered a sample before we placed our order. Like others have mentioned, it was a bit pricey for the amount you get, and there is a fee to pay with a credit card.

We have been to both locations now. The food is very good. Maybe tell them light salt. The meat was very salty but good. You get your meat by the pound and all the fixings are included.
