This place is alright. It’s small, but very friendly. It’s one of two restaurants open early in the morning in mammoth. This is important when traveling early. Nothing fancy, food is good. The prices are a little high, but you are in the isolated town of mammoth. If you like humble, no frills places, this might be your spot. Also, they have beer. I have attached photos of the menu (current 10/2025)

EXCELLENT beans and rice, very flavorful. Chile relleno didn’t look appetizing and I needed to add salt but the cheese was oozing deliciously. Garnished w fresh salad and tomatoes. The meal was delicious. The complementary chips were fresh and crunchy AND the salsa red and green were one of the best I have ever had. Wonderful meal. Be patient w the waitress/chef/busses. I was skeptical of a Mexican restaurant that also makes pizzas but decided to give it a shot and was glad I did. I got the special which was 3 queso-birria tacos and it was awesome. I would stop by again just to order the same dish.

Small. Just a few tables inside. A bit of a wait but good plain food. Good tamales. I had a breakfast burrito and it was good. My friend got a tamale and we all shared it to try. It was beef with good flavor, not too spicy.

Absolute great food. For some reason tho the enchilada sauce was way too hot today. We love spicy Mexican food but this was too much. I love the food here and the service was outstanding.

Be aware that the price you pay on your bill is not the price on the menu. They include tips in the bill without your knowledge or any kind of information on that. I added together our lunch from what’s on the menu and came to one number. I did that 3 times. She entered the same number on her cash register and her sum came out 28% higher. She blamed the sales tax. The sales tax is “only” 10,1%.
Our price came to be $58.45 and we where charged $75,00. We will never ever go there again.
