Ordered the Pho Bo- Noodles are not traditional and it breaks. The grass fed beef tastes like frozen beef that was cooked- texture is not good. Soup is oily. Bean sprouts are not available here as well. $23 for this meal is not worth at all :/

If you don’t like thick noodles this place is not for you. Also they do not have sprout, jalapeño
, lime as side for your soup. And charge 18% automatically without the need of tipping. I think of as reasonable but not to my liking.

Overall, the food is great. It tastes good, the amount of food I get is enough. But I really don’t like thick noodles.

We really loved our food. It was tasty, flavorful, fresh, and well balanced. We got the grilled lemongrass chicken noddle dish. It was perfect! Refreshing, nutritious, and clean cook/ingredients. Service was good, and the atmosphere was solid. We were there during the weekend during lunch, and they were crushing to go/delivery orders. Price was solid. They also had a grill set up outside, and were serving some dishes to go/curb side. The tasty smell drew us in! And we really enjoyed! Metered parking out front, and also free street parking in the nearby residential streets.

Tried this place on a whim when looking for a quick bite for an early dinner yesterday. Without having too much expectations we gave Viet Noodle Bar a shot and were so glad we did. The space is very calming with bossa nova music playing and guests quietly enjoying what looked like delicious meals.

We were seated right away and immediately picked out options that suited our dietary restrictions. My partner and I are mostly plant based so we each got the vegan noodle dish as well as the jicama fresh rolls. Everything was top tier delicious and freshly prepared. The fresh rolls were truly some of the best I’ve ever had! I also ordered a ginger tea that had monk fruit in it, a natural sweetener that tasted like honey and it was amazing and again, extremely fresh and refreshing.

Overall, we were very impressed and would definitely come back here again. Thanks, Viet Noodle Bar!

The tumeric fish noodle is one of my favorite dishes in Los Angeles. The flavor combinations are perfect, it is so well cooked and just feels like true comfort food. I order it whenever I’m needing a little love. Thank you Viet Noodle Bar.

I found this place while looking for a nearby place that sells pho and went as soon as they opened at 5pm for dinner. You have to street park with paid meters and the restaurant is a bit difficult to find in the dark due to no obvious sign and there’s a small decal on the glass entrance. Two of our families got seated and I thought the place was extremely bare in terms of decor. If you asked me what kind of genre of food they might sell based on the inside, I’d have no clue, ha.

Anyway, we got the menu and I was shocked to see a beef pho selling for $20.45 and all other dishes being at least $16. As an Asian, I’ve been to countless pho/Viet restaurants and prices are usually half of what you’d find here. I suppose Atwater Village area is too hip for my wallet. I ended up ordering that pho and a chicken rice dish. With one waiter handling both dine-in and take-out customers, we waited 20 min ish to get the food while the togo folks seemed to get their food faster. The pho was actually tasty and warm with good amount of beef. The rice dish was pretty decent, but I thought it was slightly bland.

So after +40 dollars for two dishes and some for parking meter, I came out with my hunger satisfied but I still think it’s too pricey compared to other Vietnamese restaurants. By the time we left, there were quite many customers dining in, but at first, it was dead silent without any music and waiting for food felt a bit longer. At least the food was tasty, enjoy!

Food-7. Interior-5 Value-5

We walked in knowing fully that we are at Atwater Village area so sub-par food value is to be expected. The turmeric fish noodle, supposed to be the most popular noodle here, was good but it was so insubstantial that I was hungry again by the time we drove home.

Glad we tried it and cross this place off our list.

Very good. Tumeric fish and noodles was Great. A little dill was a surprise. Mild flavors, well executed. The pho is also very good. Best lunch I’ve had for awhile.

Absolutely horrible meal. We both hated it. We ate one bite and said nope. Definitely not like any “Pho” we’ve ever had. To make it even worse when we said how bad it was, they didn’t care, and we had to pay just shy of $50? I’d go out of my way to tell people not to eat here.
