Two thumbs down for the ongoing issues with portion size at this particular location (which happens to be a short walk from our home, major bummer). Have reported the portion issue multiple times and keep getting $10 credits which is fine for the first 1-2 times, but annoying past that. I don’t want to pay less for half a salad. I want to pay full price for the full salad. Thought this was addressed when we noticed management changed, but unfortunately they still have the same problem. Will stick to ordering pick up and delivery from Pike & Rose location, where we have never had this problem.

Disappointed in this sweet green location due to small portion size and poor customer service. We usually love sweetgreen and it’s a go to place for us when we are out and about and looking to grab a healthy and tasty meal… But we won’t be coming back to this location.
Food tasted good, as it usually does, but the staff person who made our salads did not fully fill the serving cup for the add ins (some of which cost extra) and when my husband asked her to please scrape out the rest of the avocado from the skin (she left a big chunk), she rolled her eyes and threw it out anyway. Seemed unnecessarily wasteful and rude. Can see in the photos the bowls are hardly filled.
Overall not friendly vibes from the staff– just rushed and stressed like it was an inconvenience that we were there. Tables were dirty too.
We are usually have no hesitation to spend the $12-15 per salad from sweetgreen knowing it will be tasty and fill us up, but not at this location.

I grabbed sweet green for my mother and I yesterday 7/21 to only find a bug of some sort in my salad. There’s no number for me to call, no way to get a refund of some sort and it’s not convenient for me to go to the location given that I work in Greenbelt and purchased my salad at the Bethesda location. Not to mention the portion size of the salad. I had to ask multiple times if the employee could add more.

I am sad to write this as this is the closet location to me and I love the salads. A female employee was flossing her teeth right by the prep area. When she noticed I saw her, she just turned her back to me and continued to floss!!! How absolutely disgusting and a disregard for health of everyone who eats there. If management sees this, please ask your Sunday morning staff why they think flossing teeth over the food prep area is acceptable. I am planning to contact the board of health as well.

Love the clean modern vibes of Sweet Green. Can pay by scanning their app which is nice. Only complaint is the extra charges for different items. Feta is an extra dollar or more, across the street at Cava, there is NO extra charge for feta. Lesson learned, bring your own feta or get it to go and add your own. Its also at least 2 dollars extra may be even more for their chicken if your making your own bowl, it starts to add up compared to other places to eat nearby. Wish they’d be a little more reasonable or just have a fixed price on the create your own bowl and let you get whatever you want. 🙂

Good fresh made salad to order. Have stopped in a few times, each has met expectations. Interior is bright and open, customers able to see a lot of the operation in progress. Fare is good and prepared in front of you. Had the kale Caesar, even came with a nice slice of bread. Who knows, might even become a regular. Price for quantity and quality is on point.

This weekend was my first time at SweetGreen. At most casual dining places, there are limited options for the vegetarians. However, when ordering my custom salad bowl, I found a range of options to choose from.
The prices are reasonable. The staff was polite, courteous and accommodating. They even helped me sign up for the SG Rewards Program.
Two things, if added to their menu, would make this place even more inviting: an assortment of simple sandwiches and fresh fruits. For a complete meal, I wouldn’t mind a smaller Salad Bowl to go with a small sandwich. I plan to return soon to explore other creative possibilities for my next custom salad bowl. I wholeheartedly recommend this place for hearty simple and wholesome meal.

It’s very dirty, restroom and tables are all dirty. The staff is not friendly and it’s a bad experience.
