Absolutely disgusting
I ordered an Italian sandwich with Genoa salami only. What I received was completely inedible and frankly disturbing.
The meat was slimy, partly hard, and full of large white, rubbery chunks. When you pull the sandwich apart, even more of these white components appear. This was not cheese, not sauce, not fat. It looks like some kind of internal part of the meat itself or plastic. The texture and appearance were revolting.
The smell was so bad that I immediately lost my appetite. I threw the sandwich away after a few seconds. This should never be served to customers.
Tried to get a refund but was told they can’t as no manager is in.
If this is what Firehouse Subs considers “Genoa salami,” then something is seriously wrong with their quality control. This wasn’t just bad — it was gross and concerning from a food safety perspective.
I will never order here again.

First off, this place is extremely slow! Don’t come here unless you have time to spare. It took roughly 45 minutes from when I placed my online order to when I finally got it — only for the garlic bread I ordered to be completely missing. It’s also a bit awkward because they have an open kitchen, so you can actually see the employees moving slowly.
So why three stars after all that? Because the sub was actually really good — and that’s what I came here for. The garlic bread was just a fun add-on.
To be fair, I probably came at a bad time. It was 6p on a Friday, the line to the door, and DoorDash drivers were yelling at the workers, asking how much longer their orders would take. They clearly had enough on their plate without worrying about my $3.50 garlic bread.
I’ll give them another chance based on the taste and the fact that the guy taking orders (and my name for the to-go order) was extremely friendly. Hopefully, they won’t miss part of my order next time. 🙁

The food is yummy, when it is made correctly. They usually do a great job but once in a while they add mayo or a pickle to the box when I none of us ever want mayo or pickles, and I have a kid on the spectrum, so he will not eat it once it absorbs into the bread and the meat. It’s all he can smell. It’s a real bummer. It’s not cheap either, so I need it to be right and then when I drive home and have to drive back and explain the problem, it’s like I’m put at the back of the list of sandwiches they’re making, which sucks because they made a mistake and I drove there, drove back, tipped, and now I have to wait longer for their mistake. Other than that, when it is right, it is great, the place is clean, the service is friendly, and the brownies are amazing. I never even liked brownies all that much before I had one there and now I need one every time I go.

The Hook and Ladder is a favorite. It is packed with delicious goodness in every bite! Lightly toasted sweet bun loaded with meat and cheese. Pickup order was easy through the app. This was our first visit at this location in WA and won’t be our last!

Firehouse subs are some of the best in the biz. They also have a gluten free bread that actually tastes like bread.
The one knock is that they take awhile to make (no jimmy johns freaky fast here), but are worth the wait!

The sanwldwiches are delicious. Had 2 hook and ladders, since my other options weren’t available.
Would most definitely come back as the quality of the ingredients really shows.
They forgot 1 pickle spear but im willing to forgive that.
Could have used a bit more hot sauce, but overall, an enjoyable meal.

We looooove the food here, but we may have had our last visit tonight. We don’t mind waiting a bit for food, but between placing the mobile to go order and getting our food was an hour. It said it would be ready about 4:15 and so we showed up at 4:20. We finally left the parking lot at 5, and the explanation we got was they had “rush orders”. I planned ahead, I ordered well in advance, you gave me the time to show up, this was not poor planning on my part. So don’t bump me for whatever rush order comes up. Bummed because it’s great food, but unless you have a humiliation kink and like to be talked down to and wait forever, it’s not worth it.

We have always loved Firehouse Subs and are so glad they have made their way to this area! I typically get the Firehouse Steak and Cheese and I highly recommend this sub! This location is very clean and the staff was friendly.

Came in today around 3:30. The three young adults working seemed to be more interested in the conversations they had with each other rather than making orders timely. They even forgot to make one of my orders after I asked them what the wait time would be as I already saw them moving slow from being distracted.
