I went to Terry’s to be there at 5:30 am. since Google said this was when they opened. However, they were not open until 6 am. I have tried many times in the past to go to Terry’s Donuts during their hours of operation, and they have been closed. I waited till 6 am and was able to get donuts. The guy behind the counter was very nice, the shop is super cute, it has a few tables to sit and eat your donuts if you would like, and the donuts were yummy!! I’m bummed it took 5.5 years of trying to find this place open to be able to try their donuts.

7am on a Thursday, bought three donuts: Apple Fritter, Maple Bismarck and one I did not catch the name of which I will refer to as a chocolate knot.
First note, my server picked the knot to balance the other two.
The first bites of the the fritter and knot were rather dry, but in a way that makes them crunchy. I am a big fan of fresh crunchy donuts but these were a little different. I’m not sure the knot ever convinced me. The fritter was big enough that once I got a section with more fruit it was a very interesting eat.
The maple on the Bismarck was a great flavor match, and in no way dry. First rate. This was a first time to Terry’s but I’m looking forward to next time.

Friendly, small hometown feel and the best doughnuts. You have to show up early or everything is sold out

Don’t go to Terry’s Donuts as the donuts are not even good anymore. Way too greasy, plus they can’t be trusted to be there when they say they are supposed to be. I will not be patronizing this establishment EVER again. If you are so uncaring of your patrons than you do not care enough to actually show up to open your business at YOUR own posted hours than you do not deserve my money. That is no way to do business ever, and except to keep it open. That is terrible customer service, and your whole business runs solely on that.

We have several businesses in this town that do know what posted times are for, and do make fresh made donut. I would love to recommend any of the other 3 places. The Donut House has awesome customer service, and they make awesome donuts. I have never had a bad experience with them.

The Donut Burger has the best breakfast donut sausage sandwiches, and the owner is so sweet.

Don’t forget to also try out the new Rise and Dine on main Street. They cater to the early morning crowds, and on the weekends they also have options for all you late night sweet traverse as they are open until midnight.

Read the other reviews about getting there early to beat the crowd, maybe it’s different on Sundays but we got there at 6:20 thinking it would be open at 6:30. The doors didn’t open until 7:15. There were a few other cars waiting but there was no rush and they had plenty of doughnuts.

We got maple bars, glazed, sugar, and chocolate frosting. They are good. Definitely a cute spot to visit, the lady at the counter was super nice, and the process was easy. The price for a dozen was $13 which is a great deal. I would go again but I’m not waiting almost an hour for the doors to open, I’ll show up a little later next time.

Was finally able to get there early enough to get donuts. Place smelled great. Friendly staff. We grabbed an assorted dozen. When we got home and dug in, the donuts tasted like burnt plastic, to the point that I’m still sick to my stomach 12 hours later. We tried a bite of each one, and all of them tasted like it. I’m not sure what happened. It’s almost like something plastic got into their oil and then got fried into all of the dough. Tried calling (several times) less than an hour after we purchased to inquire about the oil and no one answered. Huge disappointment, especially since the donuts SMELLED amazing. A waste of money as well.

Darn good donuts!
Apple fritter is the right mix of crunchy spots with a delicious, soft, fluffy yummies.
Not overly sweet.

So many people came and went this morning because they weren’t open on time. Donuts must be good, because even though they were supposed to open at 5:30 am most waited until 6:15 and 6:30 before leaving. Bad business practice for sure. Do better Terrys……
