I found this place by accident .literally I got a puncture out side the place.
So glad I did the food was fantastic the chilli garlic chicken was unbelievable most places its to hot or to garlic.ever bite was fab and different u could taste all the spices n herbs.The peshawari nan 4/5 but would order again .The service was pretty good for being so busy on a Tuesday night.The waitress kat was so nice even gave me a free gulab jamun to try as I was still waiting on my recovery truck.will defo be back

The Jewel in the crown is a hidden gem in the heart of Kilmarnock. Cat, the hostess/front of house/server and all round diamond is a wonderful host serving the best of Indian cuisine lovingly cooked by her husband. Wonderful atmosphere, great welcome and service and phenomenal food – all at a reasonable cost. I cannot recommend this Jewel enough.

Used to dine here a few years ago when it was usually a buffet on offer & wanted to try it again for Takeaway Friday. Not disappointed , food was as good as ever & staff are nice & welcoming.

Spent a lovely night here for dinner with my family. Delicious food and very attentive service. Staff were very informed on the menu and we all selected different dishes to try. Each one better than the last! Definitely will be back soon! Already thinking about what we will have next time!

Absolutely loved my experience here! The chicken tikka masala was fantastic, and the pulao rice was perfect. We went with family, and the service made the meal even better. Our female waiter was incredibly nice and made us feel like family rather than just customers. Highly recommend!

Got a delivery of food from these guys. The haggis pakora was inedible. Whoever made it has never tasted haggis! Honestly the worst thing I’ve tasted in a long time. It just tasted like fat, I couldn’t even swallow it.
The samosas were flavourless and fatty.
The naan was ok, and the Kashmiri chicken curry was tasty.
Delivery was quick, but I’d rather wait and have food I enjoy.
I won’t be ordering from them again. Do yourself a favour and have a piece n jam instead. Trust me, it’ll be nicer.

Great wee place. Great ‘Tapas’ style menu which is great value for money. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food is excellent. Recommend. Was quiet when we were in because we were early.
