Driving through for business travel as usual, spotted this place from the highway . GLAD I STOPPED. Clean and cozy dining area , friendly folks , and some of the best Tex Mex I’ve had in years —-and I eat A LOT of Mexican food. I had the Sonora with two cheese enchiladas with rice and beans and a chili relleno on the side . Chips and salsa are fresh and homemade . All delicious . (I will skip dinner tonight after this). Lol.

Best Mexican I have ever had. Way better than the more expensive options in big cities. I got the relleno and wife got the cheese enchiladas both were amazing would highly recommend!

If you find yourself at Marquez or maybe at a nearby lake, you could do a lot worse than dining here. Just a little place in the middle of nowhere but it’s solid! Decent Tex Mex, I could do with a little less cheese but it’s Tex Mex. The Alfredo platter was just a little more than I could eat with a chicken enchilada, pork tamale (if I was going to do this with less cheese that would be my recommendation… but maybe some folk like tamales with cheese, and a cheese (of course) chile replenish. Plenty of food at reasonable prices and friendly staff. Maybe not a perfect 5 but close enough.
