This isn’t just a meal; it’s a masterclass in hospitality. From the second you walk in, the staff treats you like family, and the service is fast, sharp, and flawlessly executed.
The food? Incredible. I went for the Farmer’s Omelette with a side of buttermilk pancakes and all the fixings. The omelette was packed, the pancakes were cloud-level fluffy, and every bite hit like a ton of bricks in the best way possible. My friend tackled the eggs over easy with bacon, sausage, and toast—the works—and it was cooked to absolute perfection.
Wash it all down with their excellent coffee, and you’ve got the best start to a day in New York, period. Punchy, authentic, and undeniably delicious. Do not sleep on this place.

This is an old fashioned diner w good prices. Our waitress was very nice. The good was much better than average diner food. I had the cinnamon French toast, my husband had the chicken wings and fish n chips. Everyone was really good, even the coffee. Plenty of parking

Overall this place is outstanding!! The food was amazing! The Greenlawn Special Omelet was fantastic, and the pancakes practically melt in your mouth. For some reason it seemed like asking for refills of coffee was wrong, and I got some pushback when ordering a coffee to go before paying my bill. Aside from that, I’ll definitely come back.

A gem of an establishment. No messing about here, these guys know what they’re doing. Seated right away by a lovely host, in an environment that feels unaffected by the ever-changing outside. The same attitude is applied to the menu. No frills or overly elaborate menu items; simple items executed very well. I’ll be back!

A true staple of the Green lawn community. From young to old, community members flock, especially Sundays, to spend time with family. While I was there, an older gentleman was celebrating his 100th birthday. The entire restaurant clapped and cheered for him. The food was as good as ever and the service was even better. I got the Spanish Omelette with toast. Delicious.
