I ordered for the very first time and to tell you honestly, I am very leery about ordering food that I know how to cook, so I gave the dinuguan and bicol express. I love that the meat used in dinuguan was pork meat and not intestines(which is normally used back home). Using pork meat reminded me of my mom’s cooking. I was satisfied and very happy with my order and will definitely come back here. The store is under new management and they did a great job improving what used to be there. The market side has more and better choices and the baked goods I bought were great too (Muhlach Ube ensaymada). Try the peanut butter too, it tastes like Ludy’s peanut butter but a lot fresher! Great and hospitable owner too! Thank you, Nino!

I love this place so so much! Up until this place I couldn’t tell you much about Filipino food other then that I love pancit and lumpia, but I’ve been trying so many different foods from here and I love them ALLL. The adobo chicken, Tocino, adobo rice, caldereta, I could be butchering or mixing some of these names but they’re all amazing and everything’s been so fresh! I know I’ve tried some other stuff too but I’m bad with names. My point is I haven’t had ANYTHING yet that I didn’t immensely enjoy and the staff is so friendly. I would eat there every single week if my budget allowed it. Definitely recommend them to anyone wanting delicious, fresh food!! In hindsight I wish I had taken a picture of my food before I started inhaling it but you just can’t go wrong with them. 11/10!

The first time we ate here the food (adobo chicken
Sinigang soup) was delicious. However, the 2nd time not so much. Chicken adobo seasoning was bland and the soup was not sour. The location is close to our house so we gave it a 3rd try and it was about the same, if not worse. Not sure if they changed cooks but the taste of the food should be consistent.

The Best Filipino Joint in whole of Clay County! This restaurant will soon dominate Jacksonville’s Gastronomic experience.

I ordered twice and did not get the right food I ordered. Sent me a different food . I ordered pinakbet and sent me this. I also ordered fruit salad I didn’t received it . The dried fish burnt I wasn’t able to eat it.

This is an acquired taste with great owners, that includes menu items that tasted good and some that didn’t meet the pallet well. Jasmine rice winner!! Lumpia was okay. Kabobs, bistec, halo halo, lumpia and pancit, weren’t appealing for a return visit. Give it a try!

This is some of the best Filipino food I have had on the East coast. The service is great, people here are very friendly, and it is very clean. I will definitely be returning!

Food was very good, they dish up your selection from at least 20 trays of already prepared foods (think country buffet style). Lumpia is fried to order. Not much space for waiting/standing near the counter.
Second attached storefront had a small grocery area where you can grab your drinks to enjoy with your meal along with a seating area. The seating space was comfortable enough. We ordered food to eat in, grabbed drinks then sat down. Food was delivered to the table, we ate then bussed ourselves before paying at the counter. The only downside was the Saturday server could not describe the food well to help us choose but they were very pleasant and patient with these first timers who only know 2-3 kinds of filipino foods. If they were not so busy, the cook might have come up front to assist but instead we chose based on our meat preferences. We thoroughly enjoyed our choices…

Excellent Philippino food place. My only gripe is the spot where you order and pay for the food is very cramped. There is not enough space to line up so it makes the beginning and end inconvenient if there are multiple people waiting.
The people who work there are very pleasant which makes it for a nice experience despite that however.
The food tastes great and is served hot. My dad said it reminds him of time spent in country.
Being that its the only restaurant around serving this kind of food they are able to charge more for it. It’s a bit pricey, but worth it if you want authentic Philippino food!
