This place used to have the best chicken tacos ever! But they had gotten a different cook and the food wasn’t the same. It still isn’t but this cook has improved. This food regardless of the cook is rich in flavor, full, and just overall FANTASTIC! I LOVE this place food. They really give you LOTS of meat and it’s very inexpensive. I only paid $11 for 3 chicken tacos (chunks of chicken) with cilantro, onion, and cheese and a side of rice. I can’t explain how good they are. Make sure you try this place before another in Rockford.

It may be the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my entire life. As far as I am concerned, this lady is the most rude and unperfectionist person I have ever encountered. I was insulted for questioning her pricing for two pieces of bread at a price of $7+. The words that were used against me were every bad and race-related word you could imagine. I worked for customer service for more than a decade, and someone like that should not be allowed to work in the public sector. I will definitely contact the state food board regarding the sanitation of this establishment. I saw bread pick up from the floor and put back on the rack and the lady wasn’t even wearing gloves or a hair net. Please do better

I’m new to town and I was driving around looking for food establishment . Noticed this corner store and turned into it. Ended up walking through the bodega side and then ran into the kitchen. Let me tell you, I had one of the best meals this year. This food was rich in flavor and abundance! I will only come back here going forward!

I waited 10 minutes for my order to be taken. I then waiting 30 minutes to just find out my order had not been started because the cook was not there yet. I was not told before I ordered that the cook was not there yet. The time was 1:30pm I don’t understand how the cook had not arrived yet. Costumer service is the worst I have ever experienced and I work in costumer service and am more lenient because I understand. But this is just extremely bad……… from the owners to the workers clearly unorganized . I can’t speak for the food quality because I left but if you’re willing to wait an hour, For a most likely average food this is it.

Man was very rude to me when explaining debit card policy to him after refusing to accept my debit card for a purchase less than $5.00. This is a violation of the credit card issuer regulations and a way for this store to nickel and dime their customers. People please be aware of the regulations Visa and MasterCard have set to protect you as their clients.

Good for a quick stop for Mexican food items. Large meat selection but who knows where the animals came from? English not spoken much but they try English and I try my Spanish. We do fine! All in all I always go back.
