I saw another review saying “as a former New Yorker” and how it’s hard to find egg sandwiches that even come close to NY especially living more south. We were traveling through and really wanted NY egg sandwiches, but it was out of the way. So we tried this place. And it was absolutely incredible. It felt like we were back in NY getting breakfast. I got an egg and cheese with bacon and it’s one of the best places I have been too outside of NY. The service was also great, fast but still was able to chat with the younger man behind the counter. We will forever come back to this location when we travel by!

Huge congratulations to Joel on the grill and Kevin on the register — these two make the whole experience at Mike’s Deli top-notch! Joel’s work on the grill is perfection — every sandwich comes out hot, fresh, and packed with flavor. You can tell he takes pride in what he makes. And Kevin? Friendly, fast, and always keeps the line moving with a smile. The teamwork between them is unmatched — they bring real energy to the place.

As a former NYer, coming across the best BECs is very rare outside of NY. However I have to tip off my hat to Mike’s Deli for not only surprising my taste buds but surpassing my expectations. It’s right off the highway & super convenient. What I would recommend is ordering at least 5 minutes ahead of time so your order is Pick-Up Ready* the staff is young & quick on their feet to take orders. Being in the retail game 20+ years & I can say they really are top tier customer oriented. There’s enough parking depending of course at what time you go, you can still find parking close by. Food is 20/10 & the drink options are the best my go to JOE TEA Raspberry. They are the best!!

I’ve been coming here for many many years, overtime their standards have seriously fallen, they really don’t understand how to cook food to ORDER and not in mass production in the morning ruining the quality and taste. They don’t seem to care either (the workers) I’ve always asked for poppy seed rolls and half the time they forget, the hashbrowns are all greasy and hard by the time you get them for your sandwich because they’ve been mass produced and when you ask for a fresh one “the fryer is busy cooking chicken cutlets” this is at 6:30am might I mind you. Definitely my last time coming here much better places who care and provide good food.

A Norwalk favorite for over 50 years. Great breakfast sandwiches, fresh salads and cold cuts, original daily specials. Our family favorite is the Thanksgiving sandwich – store made turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce…yum! I’ve also ordered catering multiple times for work and personal functions that have always been affordable and delicious! Staff could not be friendlier or more accommodating.
