Right off the bat, it’s clear that this place is not meant to be enjoyed like other restaurants. If you are wanting an engaged, friendly server, or a restaurant that has the cleanest booths, don’t come here. However if you are okay with waiting a considerable amount of time for good, genuine Asian cuisine, then this is your kind of place. I ordered the Jjampong with Extra Seafood, and it was just too darn good. It was loaded with seafood and noodles, and the spiciness was not as bad as the waitress made it sound like it would be. I was close to giving up on this restaurant, but as soon as the food arrived I knew I needed to give it one more chance, and boy, I am glad I did.

As our first time dining in with them, this place suprised me. Inside we didn’t expect that they have “samgyupsal” setting so my fiancè and I decided to move there. The place is great, if you have a group of party, or business meeting ,theres that 1st picture ,perfect area to have a lilttle privacy while enjoying the food. The food was amazing, the chef and our server was very kind and nice ,who later i found out that the server is the owner of the restaurant..I would love to bring my family and friends here sooon. Such a very simplistic restaurant with great quality food and excellent service!. How i wish theres more than 5 stars here..

A solid 3/5. Definitely a hole in the wall but in the best and most charming way. I love how the chef has his resume on the front of the menu and you can literally order any kind of Asian cuisine from Chinese, Korean, Japanese etc. Food was good and what youd expect.

Ended up here for a late dinner. Service started out sluggish but turned out to be really good and friendly. I had the chicken fried rice. It was ok, a lot more salt than I’m used to having. Everyone was happy with their meal.

Well after they were shutdown a few months ago. Its the only Korean restaurant in Kahului. They seem to be more cautious with service. I had a Tempura plate it was crispy good. Side dish was ok. My guest had Jajangmyeon. I Wish them success in the future.

Based on the reviews I wasn’t sure what to think before coming into this restaurant. But I was pleasantly surprised with how great the food was, including the tasty sides, which I asked for more of. The staff was nice, and although the sushi bar wasn’t open when I went, I can’t wait to come back. I definitely recommend this place if you want good local asian food.

Kelly the owner was super nice. The kimchee fried rice and beef chow mien were ridiculously good, as was the mandu. The meat that you cook yourself was absolutely delicious and seasoned really nicely for the pieces that had any. Definitely recommend.

There was three of us in our party one had Chinese and the other had Japanese those appear to be ample portions and they claimed they were yummy. I had the Korean kimchi jjigi which is a cabbage tofu, pork soup. I don’t recall seeing pork listed on the menu and I’m a vegetarian. I just didn’t eat the pork other than that soup was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was quaint and seem to be a local Hangout. It could have been a little cleaner. It was probably a good thing that I didn’t have to use the restroom while I was there. You may not want to go there if you are in a hurry as the service was pretty slow. It seemed like there was one waitress for the whole restaurant. The prices are reasonable for the size of portions, although I was disappointed for not having as many Korean appetizers I thought they wight have.

if you’re coming here expecting to eat Korean food, you’ll be somewhat disappointed. Based on the menu, we thought this was a Korean restaurant but many of the Korean dishes were not available. This is because it used to be a Korean restaurant but now taken over by Filipino owners and kept the Korean menus.

After many days of eating Hawaiian food, our family craved Korean food. But they were just not up to par with Korean food that I’m used to. For example, the kimchi jiggae (stew) I ordered didn’t even come with rice and it looked/tasted more like a soup than a stew. And no banchan (side dishes) either. other traditional Chinese dishes like Mongolian Beef and Fried Rice were okay. But we had to settle for Chinese food because many of the Korean dishes were not available.

I didn’t try their Filipino menu and I’m sure they’re great but don’t expect to get quality Korean dishes here.

I went based on the reviews of Korean dishes but it must have been before the ownership change.
