The food are very tasty and views are nice. Highly recommend Frutti di Mare and tiramisu. Beef sliders also taste great. The lobster sauce used in the pasta is so fresh and flavorful. I’m impressed by the freshness of the seafood. Mussels, salmons, lobster sauce are very fresh and reminiscent of the fresh caught in New England. They also do virgin mojito off the menu( just ask)

Had the privilege to celebrate my mom’s birthday dinner last Thursday here and let me just say from start to finish I was beyond satisfied with the service from this establishment and let me not even forget how amazing the food was. To start I had some trouble finding the entrance and a gentleman came outside to find me at my car and walk me inside, that was already a great start. To follow up everyone was extremely attentive and courteous to my mom on her birthday. The service was prompt and so welcoming. We were all given a pickle shot to start the celebration. Food was so delicious and the portions were perfect. I will definitely be back, thank you for having us and making our experience worthwhile.

My husband amd I selected this restaurant as we like a restaurant with a variety of brunch choices, which this had. All of our food was tasty. We ordered the sweet chili crab rangoon which was very good, the sweet chili had a nice kick to it, not overly spicy. We also ordered the ricotta pancakes which had diced strawberries and a delicious whipped cream on top. The whipped cream was light and fresh, not overly sweet and accompanied the fruit and pancakes really well. The farmers breakfast platter had tasty breakfast potatoes and well cooked scrambled eggs. The wait staff was friendly, not as attentive with our preference, but we were able to flag them down when needed. Overall a positive experience. Would definitely return to try other items on the menu.

The food was delicious too! And oh my gosh, they were super generous to throw in the desserts and gyoza on the house. That tiramisu was homemade and heavenly~~~

We visited this restaurant last night and had a great experience. The cocktails were absolutely amazing. Even though it’s a seafood restaurant and I don’t eat fish, I had no trouble finding great options for myself. I ordered the Chicken Caesar salad and the pizza with tomatoes and chicken pesto, the pizza was outstanding, easily 11 out of 10, highly recommend it
The salad was good overall, though the dressing felt a bit too intense in flavor for my taste. My husband ordered the lobster mac and cheese, which was delicious

As a long-time Newport resident, I finally tried Blue Anchor downstairs at Newport Beach, and it turned out better than I expected — great value for the price!
It’s located right by the river, with a direct view of the Manhattan skyline from outside the restaurant. The evening atmosphere is lovely, and I happened to visit on a Tuesday with live jazz, so we enjoyed the music while dining.
Bao Voyage Sampler comes with four flavors: soft-shell crab, beef, sautéed mushrooms, and a lighter salad.
The soft-shell crab is a whole crab and nicely fried. The beef one is rich and slightly spicy. The mushroom bao is very fragrant but a bit salty. The salad is refreshing and works well to balance out the heavier flavors. Overall, the sampler ($30) is generous, and the bao buns themselves are soft.
Bouillabaisse comes with plenty of seafood, and the broth is on the tangy, aromatic side. The bread pairs really well with it.
Soft Shell Crab Platter has three pieces of crispy, tender soft-shell crab. Eating them together with the salad underneath keeps it from feeling greasy.
Mushroom Risotto isn’t a large portion but is very flavorful — strong mushroom aroma without being too creamy. Pretty good overall.
For Newport, the prices are quite reasonable, especially for a spot with this kind of waterfront view. I think it’s really worth it!

Newport is such a lovely place. On Sunday morning, I took a walk by the river and found this seafood bistro right under The Beach. Enjoying brunch with a river view was absolutely relaxing.

Smoked Salmon Benedict – The perfectly runny egg yolk flows down through the crab cake, smoked salmon, and a crispy butter-toasted bread base. It’s the best way to start a beautiful morning.

We visited our friends in Newport last weekend and decided to try Blue Anchor for brunch after seeing its great reviews on social media. The decor is bright and clean, with a beautiful view of the river.
Overall, the food was delicious with reasonable prices and generous portions. Our favorite was the flavorful, juicy burger with perfectly balanced ingredients. The fried cod in the fish tacos was also crispy and satisfying.

I like this bar very much!My friends and I chose Captain’s Colada and Borna Star to drink straight to my head! The former was a collision between rum and pineapple coconut, with a tropical feel rippling up; My friend ordered Borna Star, a vodka with passion fruit liqueur. I tasted sweet and sour, and it was very good. Their chicken tail wine list has a lot of flowers, next time we must arrange “O.G. Old Fashioned” and “Kiwi Breeze”

We went for a team work lunch and it was amazing! The staff were extremely accommodating, had great service and the food was amazing! We ordered the quinoa bowl, scallops, crab cake, salmon burger, and veggie sandwich. Everyone enjoyed their meals and service. Highly recommend!
