This isn’t a fancy place. It’s north side Tulsa, and anyone who lives in the tulsa area doesn’t need an explanation… but the food?? The food is incredible. I eat here a lot. My wife loves the menudo. We like to sit down in a booth and enjoy the food and have a nice weekend lunch.

This looks like a mom and pop business.. They serve authentic Mexican food here, not TexMex, and it is all good. Very good. This is not a fancy place to eat but it is quiet and welcoming and inexpensive too. They also have a small market there with a few fresh veggies and some steaks and such.
I was served by a gracious woman whose English was not great, but then, neither is mine. I liked here immediately.
This restaurant shows up on Google maps as a buffet and that isn’t right. There is a steam table and they build your order from it for you and it is not all you can eat. But I went away full and I am a big eater.

This isn’t a ‘fine dining’ experience but it is a warm and welcoming family friendly place to relax and enjoy good food. It is quiet, clean and inexpensive.

The ladies here are always so nice and welcoming. Depending on my schedule I will dine-in or carry- out, but the food is always good. I always feel like I’m eating at someone’s mom’s house for dinner. They are the reason I love cactus!
