Bock Burger is a family-owned business in Alpine Texas. We make burgers and grilled cheese sandwiches. Each burger is made with local Far West Texas beef and Veldhuizen raw milk cheese on a handmade sourdough bun. Each sandwich comes with an organic side salad with a house made vinaigrette. We make a specialty sourdough pound cake each week. What’s in the bag? Good food.

Nice walk up burger spot. Easy to get to and very good burgers. The cheeseburger I ordered had a different bun and sweet pickles on it. I usually have dill, but the sweet pickles were a great. It added a different flavor I’m not used to but enjoyed.

Great burger. Everything looked and tasted fresh. Really like the homemade sourdough bun. Wait can get a bit long, but it was worth it. Very few places to sit down so plan on taking it out. I liked the salad option instead of the chips.

This might have just been the best burger I’ve ever had…it’s THAT good. My husband, daughter & I are in town for a friend’s wedding and were browsing food options as we got closer to town since we’d be getting in kind of late. This place popped up everywhere as a hidden gem so we had to try it out.
I got a single cheeseburger with bacon & tomato. Hubby got a double cheeseburger with avocado. Absolutely delicious from the first bite. The sourdough bun was incredible. Fluffy, not soggy at all, great texture and flavor. The burger itself was 10/10. Every bite of that raw milk cheddar cheese was melty and delicious. I loved the sweet hot pickles, there were so many of them too! The burger + buns + toppings are HUGE! We inhaled every last bite. I don’t even know if I’ll be hungry tomorrow morning but it’s so good it was so worth it. Didn’t even take a breath to get a picture before we devoured them. If it wasn’t 2.5 hours from home, we’d be back all the time.

WOW!!! If you want a burger you can’t get anywhere else, come to Bock Burger. Michele is the owner with her husband, she works the window. She is super nice. Very accommodating and pleasant. Great music. You sit outside and enjoy the beautiful weather.

A great find in Alpine. Only outdoor seating…pets welcomed….very friendly staff…no bathrooms,served on the side of the house. Parking is minimal. But one of the best Grilled Cheese with FRESH jalopenos that I have ever had…. my hubby’s 2meat cheese burger was freshly made and you could smell it cooking from the window.. yum…It’s a place I would go back to and you should try. Photos included.
