Small place with big flavor. Their chicken is delicious every single time. My fiancé and I love the cilantro rice and fried rice. Every time we go the food is perfectly seasoned and wonderfully warm. Our go to place for chicken! The place itself is very small so it’s not good for eating in, we usually get takeout. The green sauce is too spicy for us but we love the yellow sauce. Fast and friendly service too!

This place is outrageously overpriced. It’s the most expensive Mexican food in the area. Just three days ago, I ordered steak burrito and small yucca from another location that’s only five minutes away (I won’t mention the name). The total was $18. Today, I came here (El Pollo Coo) and got the same meal, Steak burrito and small yucca, nothing else. The total here was $25.

Me and a friend went here for lunch. Prices were affordable and the service was quick. There was hardly any wait for our food and everything tasted incredible. Definitely recommend this place!

I probably would have never tried this place, but my wife brought home some of their food recently and it was delicious! I’ve been trying to persuade her to go there for lunch ever since. Today we got a barbecue chicken salad and a buffalo chicken wrap with fries. I got to try her salad and it was very good. I loved my chicken wrap and the fries were just right.
I’m not sure whether it’s obvious from the photos, but place is immaculately clean – absolutely spotless! There are a few small tables inside and a few tables outside as well. I think this is my new favorite place for a quick bite. It has been open for a few months, and if you’ve read this far, I encourage you to give it a try.

I made a rookie mistake and ordered the half chicken. Should have gone with the quarter chicken dark.
The chicken itself is delicious, made all the better by the cilantro rice. Perfection on a plate!
Also the plantains were 5 star yummy. Don’t miss out on the green sauce. Your taste buds will thank you.

This was my first time trying Peruvian food and I’m glad I went here for it. The chicken was super juicy, the yuca was perfectly fried, the plantains were that right balance between being a little sweet and a little savory.
The thing that knocked it out of the park for me was the cilantro rice. Nobody ever warned me that rice could be this good.
Not to mention it came out to a little under 20 per person and the portions were pretty big.

Tired Peruvian food for the first time when visiting CA and loved it so I decided to find a local spot close to home that had good reviews. El Pollo Cool had the best tasting chicken! It’s charbroiled and hands down better than Boston market’s rotisserie chicken. Even their white meat was tender, juicy & flavorful! We also tried their steak (carne asada) which was good with the green sauce but I prefer their chicken. You get green (spicy) & yellow (not spicy) sauce with your meals. Their cilantro rice was really yummy and much better than chipotle’s. My son said their fresh vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, & carrots) were flavorful and liked it. I thought their green beans, corn, & plantains were good but their fried rice was a little bland. I will definitely be back to get their chicken again and try more dishes. I think I might try their Grilled chicken pesto ciabatta sandwich next.
Update: tried their chicken pesto ciabatta. So yummy I couldn’t leave a single bite. Their pesto reminded me of noodles & company pesto cavatappi. I wish they used their charbroiled chicken on their sandwich though, but still yummy. Next, to try: tacos

I absolutely love this little restaurant. We ordered the LOCO ESPECIAL which is a whole chicken served with your choice of three sides and 2 liter bottle of soda which we passed on the soda. The three sides we got were plantain, black beans, pico de gallo. We also got a side of guacamole. The marinated charbroiled chicken was absolutely delicious very tender juicy but not greasy. Melts in your mouth. My favorite sides were the guacamole and the pico de gallo which were both delicious. As a matter of fact everything was delicious. The staff was very friendly and polite. I will absolutely return to this restaurant again. Thank you El POLO LOCO for that delicious meal.

I gotta say, I never leave reviews for locations but this spot never misses when it comes to the food. The lomo saltado is always on spot, hot & fresh, ready to eat. The green sauce tastes sooo good. For sure one of the best lomo saltados i’ve ever tried in the area.
Don’t hesitate to try this spot, it will be one of your go-to food spots
