My oh my was this place fantastic. We had a wonderful lunch. Chicken and sausage gumbo was very flavorful. I got a cup and wished I had gotten a bowl !!! Bbq shrimp and cheesy grits was delicious. Alfredo with shrimp was tasty. I added some spicy seasoning that was in the condiment tray because I thought it needed a tad more heat and flavor .Service was fast and friendly. Highly recommend.

3.5 stars. Quick late lunch. Boudain balls were great. Shrimp po’boys were underwhelming. Inflation definitely has impacted the portions and size of the shrimps. Fries were very good. Bread pudding was quite good. Service was consistent, friendly, and prompt.

Food is… Good. I had the gumbo this last visit and was a little disappointed. It’s very watery, not thick at all, more like gumbo soup. The past few times i visited, I got the stuffed macaroni with brisket- delicious!
The place is clean, the staff is knowledgeable, but the food is just average. The price is high for the amount you get (which I wouldn’t mind if it was great food). There’s never any wait and I’ve never seen them crowded.

Service was pretty friendly and the food wasn’t bad, though I’ve had better. We had etouffe and fried fish, trying to find some authentic Louisiana cuisine. It was a holiday weekend and everything downtown was crazy so we came here. It was quiet with no wait.
