This place has amazing food and the staff was extremely nice and tentative. We ordered the shishito tempura peppers to start which was seasoned perfectly. Then chicken karaage which was perfectly crispy and had a great dipping sauce. Next went with the sushi taco which by far was my favorite. It was absolutely delicious and the textures were perfect. We then shared some rolls which were all fantastic. Highly recommend the fire and ice roll. Great place!!

Absolutely delicious dinner! Our table of two ordered the karaage, volcano roll, spicy salmon roll, and the toro, uni, ikura rice bowl.
We parked on the side street where there is plenty of free parking and walked over the one block, rather than fight the traffic on northern Blvd.

We stumble upon this Japanese restaurant and we are absolutely blown away by how amazing the food quality was! Everything was very delicious and super fresh. We’re so happy we’ve found a restaurant with top notch Japanese food in the area so no need to travel out to the city! Highly recommend this place!

The food was excellent. We’ve lived in Douglaston for many years and never ordered from here for some reason, we are so glad we finally came across it. Finally we have a reliable sushi spot! We ordered several specialty rolls and a 3 roll plate, each was extremely fresh and delightful. Ordered through their restaurant website, which came extremely quick. Highly recommend!

Recently discovered Nami Sushi and have been twice in a week. This place is a legit gem. After visiting the first time, all we could think about was how delicious the sushi was. We did Take Out and were surprisingly, quite impressed. I say this because local sushi is always just two things. Better quality but not so much casual, with prices to match. Or, super run-of-the-mill, subpar to average quality and still not great value for your money. So with low per usual expectations, we ordered from Nami tonight for the first time .. but we were so pleasantly surprised! Their sashimi quality was very good to great. The cuts of fish were thick and clean. They I include rice and soup with sashimi entrees (which isn’t the case with other spots), and the value was excellent. We are excited to have stumbled upon Nami and we REALLY HOPE YOU DO NOT CHANGE YOUR QUALITY AND PORTION SIZES AND PRICES! Too many places often do this bait and switch and it sucks. We will definitely be ordering from Nami more now. Let’s hope they maintain what makes them great!

After a lackluster omakase dinner in midtown NYC last week (at $200+ per person), we decided to check out a new sushi spot that had just opened. Wow, I’m genuinely impressed—this place is even better than the pricey omakase we tried! The sushi was super fresh, and the flavors were on point. Plus, it’s way more affordable than the omakase place from last week. We’ll definitely be coming back!

This is one of the best Japanese restaurant I’ve ever came across. From the interior to the food to the service everything was amazing. Staff was very friendly to us and not overwhelming us. The atmosphere is very welcoming making it easy to communicate. The food is very tasty and delicious especially the sushi.
