We ordered pizza and received pizza porridge. The pizza was delivered upside down and had to scrape the wooden box for the toppings!
How can you deliver a pizza upside down!!!!
Inspite of that, the pizza was fresh and had lot of flavors! Next time I would turn up to the store instead of a delivery.
What we tried..
..Garlic Paneer Pizza
We visited last week and were told they had expanded the menu—adding combo meals, burgers, Mexican dishes, salads, and chaat alongside their pizzas. We decided to try the pani puri and a combo meal (the photo showed white rice, which we specifically wanted for our baby).
The pizza arrived first—it was decent, but noticeably lacking the rich tikka flavor we used to love. Then came the pani puri, which was honestly the worst I’ve ever had. The water tasted off (not the usual pani), and the filling seemed stale to the point where I had to spit it out.
Next was the combo meal. Contrary to the photo, the rice was bright yellow instead of white. When we told the server we had ordered it for our baby, he reassured us it wasn’t spicy—just “yellow color.” That response was baffling. Why add food coloring to rice ? When we pointed out the mismatch with the menu photo, the server became defensive and said he didn’t know since the photos “come from the back.”
We asked them to take the dish back, but our request was ignored. Eventually, we just left—after paying for food we couldn’t eat.
It’s frustrating to see a place that once did one thing really well lose its quality by trying to do too much. Expanding the menu is fine, but not at the cost of taste and consistency. This feels like a classic case of a restaurant losing focus. I really hope they go back to doing what they were great at
They take endless online orders (mostly appeared to be pizza) & prioritize them over dine-in customers. Almost everyone dining in had to wait for 45-60mins to receive their order. Very disappointed. The server/cashier was kind though and apologized, but don’t think he was at fault. It’s just a mis-managed place with a high-focus on online orders. Order ahead to avoid wait, or instead just order delivery.
The food was really good, and everyone at the party enjoyed it. We ordered pizzas, pasta, bread sticks and samosas, and all were well liked. Pizza Twist offers pizza and pasta with a twist of Indian flavors, including some spicy options, which was a hit with our guests.
They also have four large TVs and speakers, which were perfect for music and dancing. Overall, it’s a very good venue for small birthday parties

And the food… wow! Every bite is bursting with flavor. The pizzas are perfectly cooked with a deliciously crispy crust and fresh, high-quality toppings. The menu has something for everyone, and everything we tried was outstanding. You can really tell that a lot of love goes into every dish.
Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or having a relaxed meal with friends or family, Pizza Twist is the place to go. Friendly staff, incredible food, and an overall unbeatable experience – this place deserves every bit of praise!
Walked in with hope. Service? Friendly, attentive, the kind of thing that buys you a little patience. But patience only goes so far.
I ordered a Detroit style pizza, dressed up with some Indian flair. What I got wasn’t pizza, it was a bread bowl drowning in grease, piled with raw vegetables as if someone panicked at the salad bar and decided to dump it on top. The crust had that uncanny chain store chew, Domino’s déjà vu. Honestly, wouldn’t surprise me if it came off the same truck.
This could have landed in the “meh, three stars, at least they tried” category. But then came the kicker; the all night symphony in the bathroom, courtesy of my so called dinner. That turns a shrug into a scowl, a passable experiment into a cautionary tale.
Pizza Twist, you’ve got the name. But in Jersey City, where good food is never more than a few blocks away what you served was an insult to both Detroit and Delhi. One star. Because the bathroom walls don’t lie. This was a $25 dollar ride I wasn’t ready to take.
