I ordered the La Fogata combination plate, the food was very good. The only thing was the tostada beans were a little salty to my taste(I don’t eat alot of salt, so probably why I thought this). The portions were big and I ended up taking my leftovers home. My dinning partner had the enchilada plate and she love it. Service was outstanding. Fast and friendly. Prices were pretty good. I would recommend this place if you want some good Mexican food. I will definitely be going back.

Easily the best green chili I’ve eaten. We have traveled a lot and tried many Mexican restaurants. Some were very upscale and others little mom and pop places. And this was in our top 5. The flour tortillas are incredible! I highly, highly, highly recommend this cute little place. It’s a fun warm, no frills, friendly place. We will be back! Thanks for such a great meal and excellent service. ❤️

I went because my husband and I wanted fajitas and this place had the best reviews. We were so disappointed. Very bland with no flavor and the portion was seriously a joke…especially for the price. Says it comes with guac and they give you a teaspoon if that. Beans and rice was the only ones that have good flavor but again the portion was insanely small. Still looking for a decent Mexican restaurant in Utah.

Tortillas, rice, beans…just like my favorite Taqueria in Corpus Christi. New restaurant, bittersweet for me Acapulco was always my favorite spot and has been for a very long time.
I was happy to see someone take it’s place.
Especially knowing you have extremely big shoes to fill, Acapulco always killed it.
I will be the first one to say it was good, it was different if you’re looking for it to be the same don’t expect that that expectation is unrealistic.
I have extremely high hopes for their menu, my understanding and what I got told is it’s not finished. Which is a great thing for me they plan on offering something that Acapulco never had. I will continue to update my review.
And if you have not already tried this place you should.
The chili verde is definitely good..
It is not exactly what I want, what makes me excited is they are trying to put chili Colorado on the menu.
That was the make break for me, I will continue going to this location from what I see a lot of hard work and dedication went into putting it together. I think that as this place grows it will grow into the same thing that it replaced or better.

My family took me here for Mother’s Day. The food very authentic and delicious. (I should know I’m Mexican) Good portions for the price. And don’t get me started with the 5 dollar Margaritas it was a party in my mouth. The staff was very friendly and served our food fast.

We had a variety of dishes. The items that were good were enchiladas, chili verde, chili rellano, and the flan was very good. The salsa and chips were also very good and fresh. We did not care for the taco shell and the burrito. They were not homemade. The consistency of the refried beans was perfect, but there wasn’t a lot of flavor .

As new locals to the Kearns area we have been looking forward to trying La Fogata, and it did NOT disappoint. The chili verde had a nice little kick to it, and the overall quality was great. Service was absolutely wonderful, our waitress was incredibly attentive and made sure we were happy and totally satisfied. We will absolutely be coming back! Thank you for a great experience.

Hands down one of the best Mexican restaurants I have ever eaten at! I got the Chile Verde burrito with a horchata, everything tasted fresh and home made, so delicious! Customer service was phenomenal as well. If you want some good Mexican food you have to check this place out!
