I love this place and wouldn’t give them less than a 5 star review. However…….. they were definitely off their game tonight. Everything was overcooked. My burger was ordered medium well but came out a hockey puck. My steak fries were overcooked as well. That in addition to being what looked like the ones from the bottom of a bag. They were more like thick potato chips than steak fries.
I didn’t bother to complain because the folks at the table across from me were already doing that. The manager or owner was explaining to them about a large party that they were servicing at the time. There was no need to hear it again. I didn’t want any discount or money off the bill. A replacement order of steak fries would have been nice. But the staff looked about as tired as my fries. I think the staff was kind of overrun for a bit there. The food was disappointing but edible so I choked it down and paid the bill. I know that this isn’t typical for this place. Still disappointed though.
The servers were busting their butts. No complaints there. I’ll be back soon. I’ll be sure to update this review after my next visit.

My husband and I stopped in there there on Friday night for a retirement party. Hands down the most impressive service. I’m kicking myself for not getting the name of the two servers. They absolutely crushed it. So whoever worked the retirement party on Friday December,19th I hope your boss takes care of you. You guys rocked it out! Great food, wonderful cozy home feel atmosphere. We have never been in here always meaning to stop by and I’m so glad that we did. We will definitely be back. The drinks were extremely well priced which is a bonus

Its a decent little place here. The food was good. The best sweet potato fries I’ve had. Your typical bar food. My only criticisms are: The marinara for the cheese sticks tasted like salsa. We weren’t sure if it was a mistake or not. My fiance and I both love ranch and I’m not a fan of theirs that much. The menu for Sunday was very limited. It was also pretty dark in there. Our waitress was great and our service was great. Its down the street from my work so I’ll be back again.

Food is inexpensive. Flavors are good. Four of us ate Sunday evening at 6pm. The staff were friendly but completely slammed due a Lions football game; the place was just packed.
Iced Tea was very watery.
The ribs were nice and Smoky with good bark, however very dry and inedible.
The cod dinner on the other hand was great.
The Cajun ribeye was so-so.
Sunshine Burger was pretty good.
I expect to I come back and give them a second chance.

This is our second visit and we really really enjoy your burgers. Love the fresh made patties and homemade chips are excellent We heard on Wednesdays the grill is going so we are excited to see (taste) what y’all can do. And the complimentary popcorn is yummy

Stopped in on a Thursday night for a burger. We ended up with fish and chips and the prime rib special. MR prime rib was a tad over cookrd, but had good flavor. The potato was definitely microwaved and for too long. The French onion soup was very tasty. Had a piece of the fish and that wasn’t great but definitely gets the pass for a fish fry, compared to others I’ve had in my time in MI. Solid bar food.

We loved it! My daughter and I had the Reuben with sweet potato fries. My husband had the fish n’ chips.
Ice tea was perfect! The food was amazing and reasonably priced ! The portions were huge! Even the food we saw coming out to the other table looked so delicious! The service was Outstanding! Thank you, Autumn! We’ll look forward to coming back! Absolutely pleasant atmosphere! I didn’t take any food pics because we were too busy gobbling up the goodness!

I was excited to try this place as I was working in the area. I saw in one picture fresh wings market price. When I got there that apparently had been removed from.the current menu. I ordered the wings they only had regular and cajun which are breaded wings no sauce. I got a side of BBQ sauce but was definitely just jar sauce. I tasted no cajun flavoring at all. I also got the garlic cheese curds. I tasted no garlic. Food wasnt bad just obvious it was frozen product. I want to stop back and try a burger or something else. Nice little bar and atmosphere.
