I just moved don the street from this place and tried it for the first time. Loved it! The menu is simple – choose your size, your meat, and your veggies. It definitely lives up to its name – it’s quick, and there wasn’t a wait. You can tell it’s family-owned, and the interior is simple and charming.
The food was great! First time trying Halal Pakistani food. I did some research and it looks like Halal food means that it’s prepared in a certain way according to Islamic tradition. Kinda cool! The flavor was rich and full. Definitely coming back if I need curry in a hurry XD.

Great place for quick curry to grab and go. Very small dining area. I would like to see more vegetables besides potatoes.

I’ve been coming here for decades and I love it more and more each time. The chicken curry plate was the best. My wife just wanted the chicken curry cup with a flat bread.

Tried the Chicken Curry Combo here it started off tasty but got a bit too heavy after a while because of the buttery flavor. Also, the menu said $15.99, but I ended up paying $18.32 (not sure how that added up). Still, if you like mild flavors and don’t mind a buttery taste, you can give this spot a shot.

This used to be my go to when I worked in the area. Stopped in and ordered the beef curry. This replaced the lamb about 5 years ago. The curry sauce is the same. I recommend it. I asked for extra sauce. The main curry is served over a tender rice. This was a combo plate and I chose the garbanzo beans. You could taste some mild anise. The veggie options included curry potato, spinach and potato, garbanzos and lentiles.
The portion is generous and If you like curry sauce/gravy asked for some extra. This is also served with 1 flat bread.

I use to go to Curray and a Hurray all the time, but this last visit the food was off. And the prices have gone through the roof. $16 is way too much. I wasn’t given any veggie options. The pita bread was too sweet.

I love this place! Their chicken curry is chef’s kiss. They are always so kind. When I was pregnant I was craving this and one day I wasn’t going to make it before they closed. I was going to miss it by 5 minutes. I called and they stayed open for me. They were so sweet! Now I live 3 hours away so anytime I’m in town I have to get some chicken curry.

When I have a reason to go down to Salt Lake, I usually stop here. The food is ready so quickly and tastes amazing.

Solid place. Pretty close to Indian curry that I had in Hong Kong and Louisiana.
For 15.99 combo plate of chicken curry and beef (in 2025), fed decently two people. Came with naan bread so we ordered extra bread. The Spanish lady that worked solo was nice and helpful. A solid 4 star restaurant in the middle of the day for 1pm on a Saturday. A few pick up orders but rarely anyone sits here bc the server was a bit surprised, lol.

The food here at Curry in a Hurry is really good. Not a huge variety, but really good. Service was pretty quick, but not very friendly. The server was the only one working, and maybe that put them in a sour mood. If you want some tasty curry in a hurry, I would recommend Curry in a Hurry.
