I visited for the first time with my 7- and 10-year-old for a late lunch. I was blown away with how nice it was, how good the food was, and how kind our server, Cici (spelling?) was. We parked in the public ramp connected to the science museum, but there were limited on-street spots available. When you first walk into the beautiful building, you go up the stairs to the right, and the restaurant is just through the double doors.
We were the only customers there at that time (around 1:30pm), and Cici greeted us and told us that we could sit wherever we liked. My kids picked a corner high-top near a window, of course.
Cici was great – brought us waters and menus to start (including kids’ menus), then was amazing from there on out. She was kind and friendly, and made my kids and me feel comfortable.
The food was amazing! We started with pretzel bites, and polished them off just in time for the kids’ meal smashburgers to arrive. The burgers were huge (for a kids’ item), and both the burgers and fries were delicious. I loved that she brought their food out first (because they were starving, of course). Then came my salmon and walleye cakes (because I couldn’t decide).
All of the food was amazing – kids’ meals, salmon, green beans, buttery potatoes, walleye cakes, etc. It is more on the pricey side, but the food, vibes, and service was worth it, in my opinion.
As we were leaving, around 3 or so, more people started coming in. I imagine on (Wild) game days such as this, it would have been packed by dinner/game time! But, for a late lunch on a Friday, is was perfect for my kids and I.

Went out for a nice date night on New Year’s Eve. There was the IIHF World Junior hockey tournament happening so it was busy with kids and families which slightly ruined the atmosphere, but not a lot you can do about that.
The 8oz prime too sirloin was cooked to perfection at medium rare. Paired with the mashed potatoes and asparagus it was a perfect meal.
The Parmesan crusted chicken was cooked to preferred liking.
We had a berry gin spritz and pineapple mojito and both were well mixed with a balanced flavor to alcohol ratio.
The cast iron apple crisp flavor was delicious! The only negative was that it was a bit soupy. But would still recommend!

We stopped in for lunch today, what a beautiful place! They had an unanticipated crazy lunch rush they weren’t prepared for and despite that, were accommodating. They have a great menu overall. We ended up having the soup and salad (strawberry cashew and house salad) and they were delicious. I’m looking forward to coming back out to try their dinner menu.

This place could be so great, but the food. Yikes, the burger looked just like the preformed patty you get at McDonald’s. Their signature burger was boring, no flavor whatsoever. Skip the onion petals, not good. The servers were disorganized and didn’t know why they were open on a Sunday and didn’t know what tables they had, so of course service was slow and inattentive. Skip the drinks, the espresso martini just wasn’t.

We went there for dinner before we went to the rodeo. I ordered brussel sprouts as an appetizer they were delicious. I ordered the 8 oz sirloin steak for dinner put that left a little to be desired tough cut of meat the flavor was decent. Let the wait staff know about that but all they said was they let the kitchen know. The atmosphere was good and the staff was friendly and did a great job.

A nice variety of menu options, and flexibility with ordering. I was able to get two different vegetables instead of potatoes. Gage was a wonderful server, attentive, but not overbearing, and checked in on us periodically. Food was good – steak wasn’t as tender as other prime cuts I’ve enjoyed, but it was flavorful, well-seasoned. My partner ordered the walleye cakes and it was a good serving – 2 pretty large cakes.

Stopped in for lunch today. It was our first time here. The food, service and atmosphere was wonderful! Cece our server was top notch. Soozie the manager went above and beyond. We will definitely be back to try other menu items. Today we had burgers, fries and onion petals…yum!

I was there before a concert so the bar are was busy. I was sitting at the bar and still had to wait longer than I should have to be addressed by one of the 3 bartenders. We had the pastrami on rye. I t was super dry. Meat was tough and dry. There was a good portion but almost jerky tough. The pretzel bites were super good. Drinks were okay. I would probably reconsider before going there again

I came here over lunch and was pleasantly surprised! Herbie’s has a really great bar and seating area with nice views of Rice Park. The atmosphere was cozy, and the food was also great as was the service. I got a half summertime picnic salad with chicken. The half salad was plenty for me, and all the food was very fresh. I didn’t feel rushed, no reservation was needed at lunch, and all in I would say this is a pretty versatile restaurant where you could do a business lunch or bring your kids.

Ah, the food was good, but there were some issues. Took a while to get the initial contact even though the place was pretty empty when we arrived. Ordered chicken wings and had someone bring a basket of their chips to our table instead. Made the waiter aware and he took them away. I received the wrong hamburger so it had to be refired. French fries and burgers were good, but service needs help.
