I rarely go that direction from West Point and forget about the deli. I was coming in from NJ, saw it and stopped in for lunch. Nice girls helping and answered all my questions and were patient. The food looked good in the case and they serve breakfast all day. I ended up with the spicy ham wrap, hold the onion. It was loaded with meat and the spice was good. They have a nice shaded outside seating area to enjoy on a nice day. The large coffee I definitely needed.
Update: Got a ham, egg and cheese on an everything bagel on another trip in for lunch. Delicious! The bagel was slightly toasted and super ‘soft’. Not hard or gooey. You could tell it was fresh. Definitely a winner!

Great spot for sandwiches, it’s like subway but healthy and actually fresh. I saw them make it infront of me and the sizes were good.
I like how she took my order in a notepad actually listening to what i wanted.
Although me and my two coworkers stopped here, 10mins before they closed on a Sunday night, the employee was nice and took care in crafting my sandwich.
It seems like a very busy spot because there is lots outside seating after you get your sandwich.

When I first moved up here their food was soooo good! I don’t know what changed but they messed up my breakfast order twice and then the third time there was mold on the bagel all blue and fuzzy. I’m definitely done with this place, there’s only one friendly female employee there, everyone else is stoic. I can deal with attitude so long as the food makes up for it, for example: some Jamaican spots. But this spot is not giving what it needs too.

Fort Deli is a solid spot for a great sandwich—seriously, the sandwiches are delicious and hit the spot! However, the order of tots was a bit skimpy for the price, which was disappointing. They did mess up our order initially, but to their credit, they corrected it without much hassle. The staff wasn’t the friendliest, coming off a bit gruff, which is typical for a classic deli vibe. Overall, it’s a standard deli experience, but those sandwiches make it worth a visit. I’d return for the food, just maybe skip the tots!

Ordered a plain roll bacon egg and cheese. They couldn’t even follow simple instructions when I was the only customer there can’t imagine how forgetful they would be if it was actually packed. $5.00 for some thin more bread than anything sandwich definitely not worth it would avoid. Better off going to Dunkin donuts down the street

Great place for us to pick up a meal for the road, a long drive back to Montreal. Tons of choices, breads, rolls, meats, cheeses, salads, snacks and drinks, all fresh and prepared on the spot. Very nice ladies who take care of the customers. Well worth the time while taking the amazing scenic route back home.

Fort Deli Subs is hands down my favorite spot to grab a bite whenever I’m visiting West Point! Their breakfast sandwiches are the perfect way to start the day—always fresh, tasty, and packed with flavor. And if you’re there for lunch, you have to try the meatball sub—it’s absolutely delicious, with tender meatballs, perfect seasoning, and plenty of melty cheese.
It’s the kind of local spot that makes you feel right at home. I look forward to stopping by every time I’m in the area. Highly recommend!

I ordered a chicken salad wrap today for lunch and I got a piece of grilled chicken diced up in a wrap with nothing on it and the chicken was dry. Not only did the wrap suck, it cost me $15. I went there a year ago and actually got a chicken salad wrap which was actually ok but the wrap and an iced tea cost me almost $20. This place sucks, and the prices are ridiculous.

Fantastic sandwiches made to order at a classic deli! Best place for a roll or hero in the area. Chicken cutlets and ice cream are pretty good too! I usually order online and pickup, as the line can get long during a weekend lunch, but totally worth it. Available seating is outside next to the highway, which isn’t ideal.
