I was shopping at Potomac Mills and stopping by for a quick meal. However, my meal was completely ruined by the manager’s attitude. He was not welcoming as he was working in service industry. If it wasn’t for the kind cashier, i wouldn’t have continued my order.
My meal was supposed to be 5 legs (did show an image of online order for the cashier to be easily understand) with no biscuits, but the manager forced us to buy biscuits, which was not everyone’s favorite and did not accept the reference of exchanging to fries. Instead of 5 legs, the meal had 2 thighs, 1 wing, and 2 legs, unbelievable.
People that I know will never stop by this store again for a meal! Not worth the money and mood. Thanks for reading.

Sorry, I had to give one Star…. First, the food is really bad…. Second service is not that good… That shop it look really dirty on the floor…. I will not come back here to order my food… Asking for ketchup… no ketchup… Lol!!! Chicken do not taste anything…..

Why did you even take my order? Don’t take my order for spicy dark if you have no spicy, and no dark. Didn’t even have large cups for my drink order. Didn’t give my sauce, which you upcharge for. Didn’t give me the extra biscuit I ordered. Big bro with the glasses and the hairline, just quit if you don’t want to be there, being employed is a choice and clearly not a good one for you bud.

I think I’m done with you guys. Just so inconsistent from location to location. This particular place in the Potomac Mills shopping center just ruined our day. We were starving, and not only did they screw up our order, the chicken was literally horrible. Is was as bland as could be. And we got spicy. The employees were literally just joking around not focusing and paying attention to our order and screwed it up so bad. And the chicken came out literally 1000° hot. We had to let it rest for a good 10 minutes before we could even bite into it. Just the worst. Has anyone else noticed the lack of leadership at this place? You would think they would figure this out. Food is fine, but if you run out of chicken an hour after opening, you have to question the management of this store. Also, their canned answer for “how long will the wait be” is always “10 minutes”. Don’t believe that. Add 10-15 minutes to their estimates. It is not the wait that bugs me, it is the blatant lying. Just tell the truth and the customers will be more positive. Really it comes down to a failure in leadership. Crew is friendly.

Manager Ruined It
This Popeyes charges 75 cents per refill—not normal, but whatever, at least they’ve always been unlimited. I work at the mall and come here almost daily. Today, I go for my second refill (willing to pay again), and this manager with an attitude starts interrogating me like I’m trying to steal. It was clear she had already decided not to give me the refill no matter what.
If she hates her job that much, let her go. Checked the reviews and yep, all the bad ones are about her. Someone even posted a picture of her. The food isn’t that great at the location anyway, They just lost a daily loyal customer.

The manager was very rude, i purchased a couple of times from this branch chicken tenders and she never gave me any kind of sauce until one time i asked and she said you didn’t previously ask for sauce. WHO ASKS FOR SAUCE WHEN THEY ORDER CHICKEN TENDERS. She is very unprofessional and not decent at all!

placed mobile order, went to the counter and clearly stated the information of my order (specified name clearly). The cashier said it’s being worked on.
10+ minutes pass, no update on the order, no follow up with us. Just watched the cashier guy continue to take orders and a bagger lady come and fulfill at least 5+ orders that were placed after mine.
Why was this?
Because the cashier guy and bagger lady did not communicate with each other.
I had seen the bagger lady pack my order and just placed it on the “hot rack” without so much as calling out the name of the mobile order. I knew it was my order, but wanted to see the level of incompetence. Would either employee follow up with a customer who has been standing there for 10 minutes? would they decide to call out the name of the mobile order or just leave it there and discard it after a while?
My food sat there for over 5 minutes before I finally inquired about it.
The chicken was cold and the bun was stale. It’s evident the chicken is past 30 minutes old, which is standard regulation.
Fast food prides themselves on being affordable, quick, and convenient, and this Popeyes could not even earn one.
Diabolical.

Definitely come here if you want your fries and biscuits missing from your bag! I had to go back to the counter and let them know the issues; instead of fixing it and apologizing, they acted like I was lying and with attitude. When I asked the lady why she has whole attitude, she said “you are the one with attitude”. Just wow, will never come here again!
