I haven’t had biscuits and gravy this good in a long time. It seems like a coffee shop, but it is very good Southern food done right with service that reminds you of how things used to be.
Great coffee. Great food. Great service. If you are visiting and want a place to take your kids, the menu has a lot of options.

We went here on Labor Day and the place was very busy but the staff managed to work quickly and keep everything tasting good. This place is definitely more than coffee. I would almost call it a diner and not a coffee shop but that’s not a bad thing. Lots of food options plus still really good coffee. They also carry H&C coffee and Homestead Creamery stuff in store. Stop here for food and coffee then take it across the street to the swinging bridge for a view!

This small-town restaurant was the only spot we found open for breakfast before 9 AM—and it was packed! I’ve never seen such a small place with so many people ordering at once. Kudos to the hardworking ladies behind the counter who did their best to serve everyone efficiently. Breakfast was delicious!

We visited on a Friday afternoon while visiting Buchanan. The employees were super friendly and helpful! The food was delicious and fairly priced. It was so good that we came back this morning for breakfast! I highly recommend eating here. Oh, and they have scoopable Hershey’s ice cream.

Fantastic little stop for food!! Food was excellent. We got burgers, fries, onion rings, a root beer float, tea (both sweet and unsweetened), and some bowls of ice cream. Everything was delicious and the owners were friendly! We plan to bring the family next time. The place was clean and well stocked. It’s across the street from a hanging rope bridge that was fun to walk across and take pictures.

Super cute diner, with kind service. Burgers were juicy, big, and delicious. Onion rings were fantastic and the sourdough chicken salad sandwich was phenomenal. Visited with my husband and 3 boys on our way south to the caves and we all left full and happy.
