Sometimes it’s hard to choose between a sit-down restaurant and a food truck. This time, I decided to give Tony’s Latin Food truck a chance, and I definitely have no complaints.
The food was perfectly seasoned—the Pepper Steak and the Mofongo were delicious. I highly recommend it!
Points for improvement: The truck is located in a lot with other food trucks, and it feels a bit cluttered. They should organize the area and improve the overall look to make it more inviting. Also, the dishes aren’t exactly cheap, with prices ranging from $18 to $25. It would be a nice touch to include a drink with the meal at that price point.
The service was excellent, and I will definitely be back!

Hands down, the best Mofongo I’ve ever eaten in my life! It’s tricky because it’s a food truck so if you’re looking for a restaurant, you might miss it. Nice seating area outside. It was perfect.

We were so excited to learn Ft. Walton Beach had a Puerto Rican food truck! They were easy to find and the food was delicious. We were pretty upset that they ran out of Alcapurria, Empanadas & Relleno de Papa . . . But when it’s good, it’s good, so I get it. And the fact they sold India Malta and not Goya, just made the meal even better.

Our tackle shop is moving into this new building just across the road from tonys Latin food and decided to give tonys a shot for lunch yesterday. I genuinely cant express how good of food comes out this food truck. It is true authentic Puerto Rican/Cuban food and haven’t had anything even remotely this good since eating my mom’s cooking when I was a kid. Its an absolute treat and privilege to have such good food right across the street from my work.

My husband got the jumbo shrimp in garlic sauce and white rice and red beans. He said the dish was delicious.
I ordered the Saturday special – ropa vieja. Wasn’t what ropa vieja typically is but still tastes good. It was more like carne guisada.
Ordered croquetas de jamón and boy were they delicious. Got two more orders to go. Would definitely recommended.

Wait time was the only negative. The food was AMAZING! Definitely authentic and flavorful. 100% Worth the wait.
