Just had the greatest experience at George’s II. I ordered a large pepperoni pizza and a large order of mozzarella sticks. First, the guy was SO nice and respectful to me on the phone when I ordered. Big difference from the service levels most places have fallen to nowadays. Food was ready in like 11 minutes. This pizza is my favorite pizza I’ve had in as longs so can remember. Melty cheese and crispy pepperoni. The best part of all was the pizza dough. The dough literally tasted like fresh bread. I’ve never had that on pizza before. I know for a fact he made that dough fresh for me. Pizza 10/10. Looking forward to my next visit. This is my new standard for all other pizza places.

Returned to George’s Pizza 2 on Lake Ave after taking a break of 3ish years, very glad I did, they make the best calzone in town! Friendly service and everything has been correct on 6+ orders. Generous portions for the price point, fresh, and made-to-order. Highly recommended!

My family was staying at the hospital down the street. I ordered a regular cheese and my wife the eggplant parm grinder. Pizza and sandwich were spot on. Crust was nice and soft, food was not dripping with grease like other places. Owner was a nice guy, very friendly. Highly recommended.

The pizza here just hits every single time. Nothing fancy, but you can count on a satisfying pie. The people who work there are great! All the toppings are great, but something about the plain cheese pizza really does it for me.

We have been satisfied customers for past 4 years however recently have been extremely disappointed. We generally always get pizza; 3 toppings total (2 on whole, 1 topping on half and another topping on other half counting as total of 3 toppings). It was never an issue before however today they said it would count as 4 toppings as “4 toppings hit the pizza” and I tried explaining this has never been the case but whatever. The guy taking the order sounds like he is new at the restaurant and wasn’t even willing to inquire and ask the manager. So I go ahead and only get 2 toppings. I also ordered a side of mozzarella sticks. The pizza had burnt toppings and tasted disgusting!! Mozzarella sticks were stale, cold and not fresh by any means; clearly they were frozen and just heated up. Grocery stores sell better mozzarella sticks than these. Never ever going back. We have been disappointed with George’s last several times and this was the last order. We will no longer give them business or recommend this place to anyone. If you want FRESH and GOOD pizza – I highly recommend to go elsewhere !

This is the pastrami sub I just received . What a joke. . It was supposed to be a large Pastrami sub with mustard and American cheese. It was the size of a small with next to no pastrami on it, no cheese or mustard. I will never order from this place again. This is by far the worst sandwich I have ever seen.
