A local gem. Loads of homemade offerings, reasonable prices and friendly service. The full parking lot speaks volumes as to the quality of the food.

Went there for breakfast today. They bring out the food. My husband finds a long gray hair in his . We tell the waitress who offers to remake it. So he gets his second plate of food and egg whites are all runny and slimey. We again call the waitress to the table and tell her and she gets smart telling us that’s how sunny side up eggs are to be. No sunny side eggs are to have runny yolks not egg whites. So we go to pay for mine which my eggs were also overdone and to be fair I ate half of mine but we were already mad so we mention this as well to them and she comes over and goes now what?! And my husband told her they were overdone and she goes “you’re pay for them!” She then “goes eat half of them before saying something ?!” I proceed to pay, enjoy your no tip. Because I can be petty also. On the way out she says ,” yet you take it home?!” I said well yeah I mean after all I paid for it ?! Mind you no hair nets on any of them! No gloves! Nothing . Poor attitudes, poor food, . Poor customer service. No thanks. McDonald’s runs a better breakfast.

I came out with a group of people on a Sunday around 11am, they were able to accommodate out group so we could sit together. When our food came out, it all looked good for the most part. Within two bites of my chef salad, I knew I would not get it again. The lettuce was turning brown, the tomatoes were soggy and due to that the turkey was also soggy. I couldn’t finish it. Two other people in the group got blueberry oatmeal and both of them remarked that it wasn’t that could, but could have been slightly better if it was actually hot. The restaurant was packed, so I can’t complain about the speed of service but I know a few other did. Overall, if I did go back I just wouldn’t order those food items.

Hit and miss update…This place came highly recommended for good reason, Breakfast was great! Service was friendly and fairly quick considering they were pretty busy. Hold up…now the necessary update. Went there again for lunch recently and it took way too long. We arrived at 1145 am and didn’t receive our food until a few minutes before 1 pm! There wasn’t any kind of warning or explanation during or after. Can never make lunch plans here again not knowing if it will take an hour to get food or not.

Waited long time for server to come to table – at least 7 to 10 minutes. She apologized for the wait because she was busy. Service never improved from there. After placing order took awhile for our beverages. Food came fairly quickly but short one order of toast which server apologized for and said it be right out. Server never came back to table until much later after I asked another server for refills on our beverages and about our other serving of toast. She must have said something to our server as she popped up at our table, apologized again and said she be back with our refills. We waited another 5 minutes or so and server came back and said “Oh, you didn’t get your refills? I sent someone to bring them to you.” She ran and got them and at the end of our meal brought our other order of toast. Then the other server we asked for refills showed up 5 minutes later with more refills and said, “Oh someone brought them already .” Our server appeared to have an assigned section in another part of the restaurant because she seemed to materialize from thin air, from time to time, otherwise we never saw her serving other tables in our area. If I had a dime for every apology I heard from our server and the servers around us apologizing for one thing or another that would have paid for breakfast. Servers weren’t rude and they were hustling but appeared overwhelmed as it was busy as you would expect a breakfast restaurant to be on a Sunday morning. Didn’t appear to be any management presence in front of house to help ensure service was flowing smoothly. Otherwise food was good, but I’d think twice about going back for breakfast on a Sunday morning m,

Busy Sunday morning. Staff was attentive and made sure our coffee was always hot and never close to empty. However that’s a necessity when food takes a VERY long time.

Prices were good. Nice service. Boyfriend enjoyed his meal. I hangrily ate my B&G.

It’s a great place if you’re not that hungry or have 30+ minutes to wait for your food. We were here over an hour.

This is my first time and the food isn’t bad at all. I decided to try the beer battered haddock with 2 sides. The Mac & Cheese was good. I like the style of this restaurant with a fish plate.

Been coming here for decades, even before it moved to this location. One of the most established restaurants in the area. The French toast is to die for.
