Delicious, fast, and priced very well! I love all the meats that come with their rice platters, but my favorite is chicken. This branch is just as good as the ones I visited in Manhattan.

Fresh, clean and tasty food. And it is as usual 100% halal. I am new yorker and driving 18 wheelers (semi truck) stopped on the way and had a fresh hot food. Spicy sauce was too hot for me. Overall all good . Thank you

Great food; if you like particular spice levels, speak up, they can help you. Got mine with white sauce, tasted great. Wish they were open about 45 minutes longer each night as that’d be a constant pickup on the way home from work meal.

We heard a lot of good things about their food, and were glad that we finally got to try it out. This restaurant is amazing, everything about it is so great. The quality of the food and cleanliness of the restaurant. The taste of the food is so delicious as well as the price of the items is also affordable. The portion size is so humongous in such a way that it is hard to finish it in a single sitting. Till date, we have tried the chicken, lamb, and kofta kabab platters, and it has all been absolutely delicious. The platters have veggie options to add on, like lettuce, cucumber, tomato, onion, peppers, and protein options like chicken, lamb, fish. Their fries are remarkably tasty as well. The red sauce is really hot, and has a lot of flavor in it. They also have choices of sauces, like white, BBQ, and green chili chutney. Customer service was exceptional. For sure, we will be one of the habitual customer here.

First off the outside of the building doesn’t do it justice. The inside is full of warm and color. The smell as you enter has you mouth watering. I haven’t had much food in this genre so it was truly a treat. Taste quantity and value were great. It was moderately busy with a quite a bit of take-out. Very happy with my purchase and will return with friends.

A very good friend recommended us to the Shah at downtown Davis but we never get the chance to try them but was lucky enough to try the actual cafe here. The food was surprisingly good and service was excellent (not busy weekend). Halal option is great

This place is wonderful and I used to get it years ago. I have felt that the serving sizes have gone down and the quality of the food as well which is kinda disappointing and hence the 3 stars. On a normal scale this place would get 4/5 stars on the food. Loved the design and atmosphere and the sauce. Overall, good place, may or may not come again just cause the servings are so much smaller now than years ago when I used to come, I’d rather they increase the price by a few bucks and maintain quality and size than cheapen out.

Tried this place today wasn’t sure what expect. I was blown away. I got the chicken rice and salad plate. It was SO GOOD chicken tasted like good quality. Damn it was good and an amazing portion for what you pay for. Staff was very nice and friendly. Ordered to the food to dine in and even other customers were friendly as heck. I will be back and I’m going to bring my Afghan friends here since it’s halal.

10/10 Philly cheesesteaks, first time having a good halal Philly cheesesteak in Sac. Wish it had mushrooms and provolone cheese but still good! Super clean restaurant too. Their gyro over rice was really good too
